I sleepily opened my eyes as I reached my hand over to the night stand to stop the loud blast of the alarm clock. It was six thirty in the morning. All I wanted to do was snuggle up in my covers and go back to sleep for at least 2 more hours. I lazily started to doze of again but, then I remembered I had to get up for the most important day of my life.

"Morning Sweetheart." My father said before taking a sip of his freshly made coffee.

"Good morning dad." I replied back, then gave him a quick hug around his shoulders."

I sat down quickly and started eating some strawberry oatmeal. Breaking the silence my dad spoke. "Are you nervous about the audition?"

"Good morning my little angel, How is daddy's little girl doing this fine morning?" He smiled showing his pearly whites. My father was actually a very attractive looking man who could turn the heads of anyone. His dark complexion and light gentle brown eyes always glowed. Before Zuri could reply my cell phone rang, it was my best friend Felicia.

As fast as lighting I responded with a simple ok. "Dad I have to go I will text you later."

"Ok Kiana, Good luck." He said gently giving me a kiss on my forehead. And with that I walked out the back door.
