Chapter 25

{Kiana's P.O.V}

The guys and I all sat in the living room watching a scary movie. It was l0 o'clock pm and to be honest, I don't think any of us would be sleeping tonight. I don't even know why I agreed to watch a scary movie. It's funny because Kendrick and I both HATE any type of horror-ish things. I had my head buried into Connors chest, shielding my eyes from the screen. Kendrick was hiding behind the couch next to me. Zack and Travis both had their eyes glued to the screen. Suddenly we all heard a strange noise. Kendrick and I both exchange scared glances. It was dark so we couldn't see the shadow move in the darkness.

"AHHHHHH!!" We all screamed in unison.

The light flicked on. It was just Zacks Dad. We all sighed in relief. Mr Johnson gave us all a weird look.

"Sorry to scare you kids." He put his briefcase next to the door. "Im beat. See you guys in the morning." He gave us a nod and went up stairs.

"I don't want to watch this movie anymore." I stood up.

"I don't either, thanks to you guys Im gonna have to sleep with a knife next to me." Kendrick stood up as well.

"Fine. I"ll turn it off." Zack grabbed the remote and shut the movie off and turned on The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air.

"You guys are no fun. You can't even handle a little horror " Travis pouted in annoyance.

I turned around to see that Kendrick was gone. I tilted my head.

"You guys.. Where did ken-"

All of a sudden Kendrick popped up behind the couch trying to scare Travis. Which caused Travis to scream loudly and fall off the couch. I instantly fell on the floor and burst out laughing. Kendrick joined me and we both grabbed our sides laughing in unison. Connor and Zack were pointing laughing at Travis.

"I officially hate all of you." Travis said dramatically frowning.

"Awh, don't be like that. You know we love you bro." Connor stopped laughing and sat next to travis on the couch.

Travis sighed. We all knew he wasn't even mad at us. Just annoyed. After Kendrick and I almost died from laughing, and getting a stomach ache in the process, I yawned.

"Im gonna head to bed guys." I stood up and ran my hand through my hair."

"Me too." Connor rubbed the back of his neck and stood up.

We said our goodnights to the guys and started walking towards the two downstairs guest rooms. We were all already in our pajamas so, as soon as we hit our pillows we would probably all be sleeping. Connor walked me into my room and sat on the bed. I sat next to him.

"Hey.....I just want to thank you for helping me today.... You know with everything." I said and stared at my hands.

"That's what friends our for." He smiled at me.

"Well....goodnight I guess...." I said standing up for a second, connor stood up too."

"Goodnight." He said quickly. "By the way, you should know I would do anything for you Kiana." He bit his bottom lip. I can tell he was deciding to do something. After standing there staring at me for few seconds, He gave me a quick kiss.....on the cheek.

He hugged me for second, then left the room closing the door quietly.
