Zack's P.O.V

Kiana stared at me. Her eyes filled with worry. I adjusted my bed so that I was sitting up. Her eyes never leaving me. She then spoke up.

"I never meant to hurt you." She stared into my eyes.

I nodded, and she continued.

"I always screw things up. Maybe im just not ready for a relationship." She sat up tall.

"Don't say that." I perked up.

"Zack, because of me your in the hospital. Because of my carelessness you were shot." Kiana suddenly stood up.

"It's not your fault." I mumbled quietly

"YES IT IS ZACK! IT FUCKING IS MY FAULT!" She screamed then took a deep breath, before shutting the door.

I sighed loudly. The words I never thought i"d hear escaped her lips.

"Maybe......We should just be friends." She shrugged.

Before I could speak she said she had to go. A fake smile spread on her lips. She patted my knee before exiting the room.

"But I love you." I whispered. But sadly she was already gone.

Kiana's P.O.V

Tears slid down my face as I walked down the long corridor in the hospital. I really didnt want to ruin anything I had with Zack, Its just that being friends seemed like the only way to ever talk to him again. I gave a silent wave to the lady at the reception desk and excited out the hospital. The night air sent a shiver down my spine. Just then a voice stopped me.

"Hey." She said, and I turned around.

"What do you want Felicia!?" I snapped.

"We need to talk." She shoved her hands in her pockets.

"No we don't." I shoved past her and headed towards my car.

"Wait!" She ran, trying to catch up to me, but I was already in my car.

She opened the passenger car door and plopped down into the seat.

"Um If you don't mind can you um maybe......GET OUT OF MY CAR!" I screamed.

"I just wanted to say Im sorry." She stared at me.

"No your not. If you hadn't been such a jealous Be-yotch then Zack wouldn't of been shot. Now get out of my car."

She got up then gave me one last look. She gently closed the car door. I started up my car and drove away.

A few days later:

I walked into the club, wearing my sweat pants and tee-shirt. Today was the day I was meeting the back up dancers who were gonna preform with me for a couple weeks. I walked into the little studio. Two heads looked up from their IPhones. Smiles spread across their faces. They both stood up and walked over to me.

"Hi, Im Connor." The first guy said. He had light Carmel skin and green eyes. He was probably mixed. He had a really cute smile.

"And Im Travis." The second one said shaking my hand then adding a quick little wink. His skin was a light chocolate color, and his beautiful hazel eyes gleamed.

"Im Kiana. It's nice to meet you both." I smiled at them.

Connor smiled. "Yeah we know who you are.You have a beautiful singing voice. Wayne was right to hire you."

I blushed.

I felt like the three of us would work very good together.

~~~~~~~~~~
We all sat on the floor against the wall. Connor had run across the street to get us lunch, then came back with a brown bag with salad trays. We all ate our lunch quietly. You had to admit It was a bit awkward. Travis spoke up.
"So.....How is Zack doing?" He asked kind softly.
I played with my fork. Most people who worked at "the spot" knew about Zack getting shot. Everyone was literally heartbroken. They even had a candlelight service for him.
I continued to play with my fork. "He's doing alright I guess....."
"That's good..... Are you guys still going strong?"
"Oh, um no. we broke up a few days ago. But were hopefully going to stay friends." I replied awkwardly and put the top back on my salad. I suddenly lost my appetite.
Connor whispered something to Travis then shoved him in the shoulder. But not to hard.
"Maybe we should get back to rehearsal?" I suggested.
Both boys stood up. Then nodded
"Wanna start with the Rihanna dance number or beyonce?" I stood in front of the giant glass mirror.
"RiRi." Connor smirked.
He pressed play on the stereo and quickly stood in place. The beat of "Were Have you been" by Rihanna quickly filled up the room. When It was my turn I stared to sing and the guys started to dance. Travis grabbed my hand and spun me into his arms, and then out. After the song was over we clapped.
"That was great!" I beamed with joy.
"Yeah, Everyone's gonna love it on Friday!" Travis clapped more.
And he was totally right. They were.
