~Harry~
"How many ya want guys?" I asked Marcel and Ember as the walked into the small breakfast area.
"2." Marcel mumbles and takes a seat next to Emily. Ember holds up one finger and smiles at me.
"Okie dokie then." I begin to start my masterpieces. Cooking is just such a passion.
"So how did you both sleep?" I hear Emily ask.
"Good. Marcel slept like a baby." Ember says and adds a little laugh. She gets a quick glare from Marcel, but then he can't keep a straight face anymore and laughs too.
"Nice, nice. Harry did too." Emily sighs looking up at me. My grin makes everyone at the little table smile. It's good that during times like this, we can all still smile.
A small ping interrupts my thoughts and I flip around the two waffles. They each land perfectly into the grooves and I shut the top.
"You know, I forgot to bring Leeroy!" Marcel worries.
"I can call my parents and ask if they will take care of him?" Ember suggests and Marcel looks at her like she just saved his life. Maybe she has.
"Seriously?" He beams at her.
"Seriously. I know how you are about your turtle." She covers her mouth when she laughs. I have to admit, she's quite cute when she does that. Don't get me wrong, I would still pick Emily.
"Are you really obsessed with a turtle?" Emily asks, a even better smile on her pretty face.
"Yes." Marcel lowers his voice. "I'm raising it so I can have turtle soup."
Even I look at him as the girls grow quiet, shock apparent on their faces. Marcel cracks and bursts into laughter.
"Oh that is just gross, Mars!" Ember slaps his arm. He jerks away, but continues to laugh.
"Waffles are doooonnnee!" I sing as I plate the waffles and bring them to Marcel and Ember. Ember looks up at me, her eyes dreamy. Sometimes I forget that I'm the Harry Styles from One Direction when I'm around them.
Marcel doesn't seem to notice and digs into his waffle. Ember blushes and turns to her waffle. I place my hand gently on her shoulder to tell her it's okay, before I take my seat in between her and Emily.
"So, Marcel. What's the plan for today?" I ask playing with the balled up napkin on Emily's plate. My arm wraps around her shoulder. My back isn't hurting as bad today.
"Well we have to get further into Crescent Hills. There's um a little shop that I would like to see. Then we need to head out to MaineTown. There is another hotel that I booked there. However if we leave from here soon we could probably do a little exploring before we leave." He nods and finishes the first waffle.
"Cool. What's this place you want to go to?" Emily speaks up.
Marcel looks nervous.
"It's um...you remember the clothes I used to wear?" He stops eating his waffle and starts to chew on his thumb. It seems to be a habit that he has picked up from Ember. I see her doing that a lot.
"Yea.." Emily clearly doesn't want to say anything more because something might slip out that she doesn't want to.
"Mrs. Slovak took me there to buy them . It was a really creepy place and I just want to see if it was still there." Marcel looks down at his waffle. He pushes away the plate, the thoughts of this supposed place killing his appetite.
"Are you ready Marcel?" Ember asks noticing that he is done with his waffle. She scoops up the plate and puts it on top of her's.
"I guess." He seems to be deep in his own nervous thoughts.
"Okay well lets go get ready and pack. We can meet down here?" Emily suggests looking more towards Ember. She nods her head and takes Marcel's hand leading him towards the elevator.
"What could be so bad about that store?" Emily whispers leaning into me.
"I have no idea." She stands up and holds out her hand to help me up. I grab onto it and grunt as I try to get up. She giggles. It's the cutest thing I've ever heard, but damn, I feel like an old man.
