Dear Alex,
When the sun was setting just lightly over the trees and everything was touched with a hint of orange, and we were driving down a road lined with trees and nothing else and nobody else was coming down this road, a song came on the radio called Anna Sun. The music filled the car so completely that you rolled down the windows, and before I knew it, I was pulling myself out the window and sitting on the edge, the wind whipping my hair away from my face, my eyes closed.
And a scream bubbled out of me, long and loud and free, and it turned into a laugh.
I love you. And I love this. I haven't been this happy in...
well, I haven't been this happy- ever.
Love,
Carrie
