Y/Ns POV
I woke up in an empty house. Russell had slept over his parents so we wouldn't see eachover before the wedding. I felt quite lonely without Russell. I also felt a bit sick, my stomach was turning and cramping and I felt like I couldn't move because of it. I was excited ... but more nervous.
I got up and had a shower, washing my hair ready for later. I had breakfast and then checked that my suitcase was packed for the honeymoon tomorrow. By that time I heard the doorbell go. I ran to the door to be greeted by four screaming women. My mum, Ninette, Kerry and Hannah. Another smiling woman followed behind which carried a big box which was full of things to do my hair and makeup. She started with my makeup. She did it quite natural with beige eyes that blended into brown. She gave me fake lashes and a pinky nude lip.
Next was hair. She curled all of my hair and added a few extentions to make it have more volume. She then kept the back loose and pinned the front back.I was so happy with how it turned out. I quickly put my dress on and my mum attached the veil. They all started crying again, surprisingly making me start. As soon as they realised that I was becoming emotional, they stopped so I didn't ruin my makeup. We said thanks to the woman who made me up as she left and then said goodbye to Ninette who was going back to see Russell.
Russell's POV
I was trying to do up my tie in the mirror but couldn't. My hands were too shaky and I couldn't concentrate. I didn't know why felt so nervous. I was happy but ... so scared. What if she didn't turn up? What if she decided not to marry me?
Suddenly my mum walks in and sees me struggling with the tie. She walks over and does it up for me. She looks at me and starts crying. I pulled her into me and hugged her. "Get used to it Russ, I'll be like this all day". I smile and she stares at me. "Are you nervous?"
"I'm shitting myself"
"I'm would be with your brother as best man"
"That's the least of my worries. What if she doesn't turn up?"
"Of course she will, I saw her just now. She looks really pretty Russ"
I smiled, I can't wait too see her. All of the nerves are worth it just for that.
"Come on the car will be here soon" She said, leading me downstairs.3rd Person POV
The first car arrived for Russell, David, Ninette and Dan. In the flat, Kerry and Hannah left as Y/Ns dad arrived, ready to walk her down the aisle. They had to wait about 30 minuites for their car to be sure that everyone was settled in the church.
Russell's POV
I stepped out of the car and looked at the church. It was exactly as I had imagined. It was decorated outside with white and pink roses. Some people were outside and many were already seated. I walked through the big doors to look at the inside.
room was mostly white. There were big windows on every wall and a small chandelier on the ceiling. The floor was marble and shining and the pews were also white, with white lily's on the end of each. (Picture at the top). Y/N and I didn't want a traditional church, we wanted something more homely. This was certainly perfect. Many of the seated people began to talk to me and congratulate me.About 20 minuites later, it was announced that Y/N and her dad would be here soon. I took my place at the front and waited nervously.
Y/Ns POV
I stepped out of the car with my dad and looked at the outside. It was beautiful! Hannah, Kerry and the other bridesmaids ran over to me and we talked for a bit. Once we were told that we were ready to go, we quickly arranged ourselves in a line and the big doors opened. First the bridesmaids walked in, followed by Hannah the maid of honour. I took my Dad's arm and we walked up the stone steps and arrived at the door.
(BTW I have no clue how weddings work - I'll write from what I know)
Russell's POV
Finally they were here. First came the bridesmaids. Kerry spotted me and discretely stuck her middle finger up at me. This made Dan snort and mum scowl at him.
Then came Hannah, the maid of honour who gave me a reassuring smile.
Suddenly everyone burst into gasps and awes, I looked up to see.... Y/N .... oh my god. She looked beautiful. I couldn't take my eyes off of her as she walked down the aisle. We finally caught eyes, making us both grin. Finally when we reached the end, I was allowed to take her hand and we both stood facing the vicar.
(Skip vows and stuff cause NOPE)After the vows and the rings , the vicar asked "If any man, woman, or child has any just reason or cause why these two should not be lawfully wed or joined, speak now or forever hold your peace."
Suddenly, everyone in the room turned to the door ....
