Chapter 26: Remember me

2 weeks later

Adam's POV:
I wake up from another dream with Lucy. I grab my head and close my eyes trying to remember something...but nothing.
I slam my fist on the bed in frustration.
I can feel a strange feeling in my heart but nothing in my mind.
It's all empty.

I grab my phone and dial Lucy.

"Hey..." I mumble.
".....hi.." She whispers.
"Um...how are you?" I ask awkwardly.
"Good.."
"Wanna meet...now?" I'm eager in seeing her again.
"Sure..." She says.

I grab my jacket and rush out the door. I get in my car and drive to the nearest café where we arranged to meet.
I park my car and walk inside seeing empty tables.
"Can I have a cappuccino, please" I say to the barista and wait for my order.
A few seconds later I grab my coffee and turn around to find a seat, but I suddenly crash into something.
"Oh I'm sorry!" I look up and see Lucy.
"Again...?" She giggles.
"Haha um... Sorry" I laugh not knowing what she meant.
Spilled coffee on her so she takes a napkin and wipes it off, leaving a stain.
"Wanna sit over there?" I ask pointing to a table near the window.
We sit down and stare at each other in silence for a few moments.
"What happened last time when you came over...?" I ask insecurely.
"I don't know... You're with Anna" she says.
"But I don't remember her...I feel like I like you"
She smiles humbly when I say that and looks down at her hands holding her cup of coffee.
"Will you tell me all the truth...about us?" I insist.
"What truth?"
"About our relationship before?" I say.
She sits in silence looking out the window for a while and puts her hair behind her ear.
"Um... We met about 2 years ago...you were on tour here and you were staring at your phone while walking and you crashed into me with your coffee and stained my shirt." She explains.
So that's what she meant when she said again.
She goes on "then we started hanging out and we started dating."
"That's all?" I ask
"Well... We got engaged but then Anna showed up and turned out you didn't know that you have a kid.. Well she was your ex but...ya we broke up and you lived with her" she says sounding sad.
"Wow... Is that why I've been having dreams"
"What dreams?" She asks .
"Of you...."
She smiles weirdly...
"Ya I stopped having them when you showed up." I say.
"Maybe it was a sign..." She jokes, but I believe it.
We talk more about the past and spend all day together.

8pm.

"Wanna go home?" I ask.
We drive to my house, knowing that nobody will be there.
"Do you want anything to drink?" I ask as we walk through the door.
I pour us some wine sit on the couch.
"It's dark outside, I'll just go later cuz my friend is waiting for me." She says.
"Alright..." I feel sad.
We drink and talk for about an hour.
"So are you single?" I ask smiling funnily.
"Haha... Nope actually"
When she says that my heart stops.
"Oh...where is he?"
"Actually I'm planning on leaving him cuz we don't get along..."
"Well, does he know where you are?"
"No... I haven't seen him in weeks because he's always busy."
I nod my head and keep asking her questions about her life.

"Do you know that you have very pretty eyes" I tell her.
She just looks at me and moments later I feel my face getting closer to hers.
I slowly feel her perfume on me and soon realize the feeling of her lips.

I lay on top of her as I kiss her passionately and feeling her perfume take over me. I slowly take off her shirt and touch her body, she takes off my green shirt and licks my neck leaving goosebumps all over me.
I take off all her clothes and hold her tight feeling very close. I finally feel fulfilled with someone's presence. I feel like I've finally met the one I had to.
She holds my face and kisses me all over while I take off my pants.
