Adult Talks

*Shelby's POV*

I sighed getting out of the bed walking downstairs to the kitchen making coffee, eggs, and pancakes and bacon for Louis when he woke up. He's been working long hours at the studio so I decided I would get up and make him breakfast.

"Morning baby." Louis smiled kissing my cheek.

"Good morning, breakfast is ready." I smiled as I sat down after making our plates.

"Someone's in a good mood." He grinned.

"I haven't got sick yet or because I get to see my babies today." I smiled sitting down starting to eat.

"True." He nodded as he ate.

"So, I was thinking maybe when Harry drops the girls off we tell him that I'm pregnant just to save us time in the long run." I said taking a sip of coffee.

"I've been thinking that also." Louis nodded

"Okay. So I guess we are telling them? I'm really nervous about this babe. What if he flips or something in front of the kids? Babe this is serious." I said looking at him as I started to panic.

"Babe relax it'll be fine. They said they had something to tell us so we will let them talk and then tell them when they're done." Louis shrugged as the doorbell rang.

We put our dishes in the sink and went to the door opening it.

"Hey guys." We smiled.

"Mumma." The girls smiled.

"Hey babies I missed you so much." I smiled hugging them and kissing their heads.

"How was Darcy?" I asked.

"Good only used her machine once while she was awake." Harry said sitting on the couch.

"Good, has she used it at night?" I asked.

"Yeah." He nodded.

I nodded sitting on the love seat with Louis. I sighed seeing my phone go off.

"Hey Niall what's up?" I asked.

"Can we talk?" He asked.

"Can it wait please Harry and El are over right now?" I asked making him sigh.

"I guess yeah that'll be fine." He said.

"Okay great I'll call you later." I said.

"Okay love you bye." He said hanging up.

"What was that about babe?" Louis asked putting his arm around my shoulders.

"Niall needed to talk." I shrugged. "So what did you two want to tell us?"

"Uhm, we're pregnant." El said.

'Our announcement just got easier.' I thought looking at Louis.

"Congratulations guys." Louis smiled.

"Yeah congratulations. Although this is kinda funny now that I think of it." I laughed.

"Funny? How?" Harry asked.

I glanced at Louis and he nodded.

"We're pregnant also." I said.

"Oh wow congratulations! How far along are you?" El asked.

"A month and a half." I smiled.

"Same here!" She smiled.

"Well we should get going. Mums calling wondering where we are at." Harry said.

"Okay, bye guys." I said as they left.

"That was shocking. I didn't expect her to be that far in her pregnancy." Louis said.

"Me either." I sighed.

"What's wrong?" He asked standing up.

"Nothing." I said shaking my head.

"Okay, but if anything is bothering you please let me know." Louis said looking at me.

"I promise I will let you know." I smiled softly.

He nodded walking into the kitchen, probably to make dinner but I'm not too sure. Anyways I got up and walked to the laundry room getting the clean clothes out of the dryer.

"Shel, can I talk to you and daddy?" Lilly asked shocking me.

"Uh sure love go get your dad and come to our room. I'll be there in just a minute." I smiled.

I finished putting the clean clothes into the basket and then carried it into mine and Louis's room.

"Hey guys." I smiled softly seeing them sitting on the bed.

"Hey." Louis smiled.

"So what's up love?" I asked.

"I was wondering if I could call you my mum?" She asked making smile.

"Oh honey of course you can." I smiled.

Lilly smiled hugging me. "Thank you so much."

"Anytime." I smiled kissing her head.

Lilly walked out of the room.

I smiled looking at Louis. Louis kissed my lips.

"I'm so shocked she asked me that." I said. 

"I know I was too." He said. "I'm glad she did though. It shows she trusts you."

"That's great then." I said.
