Today Shel and I are creating the nursery. I promised her she can do the decorating while I built everything.
"Babe? Can you get the flower thing?" Shel asked as she sat on the floor in the nursery.
"Sure." I said going through the bags of decorations.
I handed her the bag as I set up the crib. The room is already painted and is looking great.
"Here's the chair where do you want it?" Niall asked.
"Corner please." Shel said glancing up at him.
Niall nodded as him and Greg carried it in.
"What can I do to help?" Lottie asked.
"Uhm, help me with this and then we can organize the closet." Shel smiled small.
"Great." Lottie smiled sitting down beside her.
"Mumma!" Lilly yelled.
"What Lilly?" Shel asked.
"Addy and Darcy are fighting again." She said making me chuckle quietly.
"Lilly, go get the snacks. It's snack time they're probably hungry." I said.
"Okay. We really need a boy in this family." Lilly sighed walking out of the room.
"Good luck with that. I'm not lucky enough to get a boy." Shel said.
"Are you not happy with the pregnancy?" Lottie asked.
"I am but I want a boy too." Shel said.
Lottie nodded her head.
"Babe where did you put Elizabeth down at?" Shel asked looking at me.
"Her room. She's been asleep for a while." I sighed pushing the crib over to the wall where we talked about putting it.
Shel nodded standing up with the help of Niall and Greg. "Louis can you hang this up above her crib please?"
"Sure." I said taking it.
I hung it up and then started to work on building the dressers as shel organized the closet.
"What do you need us to do?" Niall asked.
"Uhm set up the changing table." I said.
He nodded as him and Greg got started.
"Mum can I go swim?" Lilly asked.
"No. Not right now there's no one that can watch you." Shel said hanging up some clothes.
"Then can I paint?" Lilly asked.
"Sure but keep it away from the twins." She said.
Lilly nodded. "Oh I let Cocoa outside."
"Okay." Shel said.
"Shel where are you wanting this?" I asked.
"Right beside the changing table." She sighed.
"What's wrong?" I asked looking up at her.
"Braxton hicks. I'll be okay." She said as she laid a hand at the bottom of her bump.
"Time those. You could go into labor any time now." I said.
"I know I've been through this before." Shel said as she finished up the closet.
"Madison wants another baby." Niall said shocking us.
"What?" I asked looking up at him.
"We've talked about it." Niall shrugged.
"I'm impressed." Shel smiled. "She doesn't open up about things like that much."
"I know." Niall smiled. "I personally want one more."
"A boy this family needs a boy." Greg said making Shel laugh.
"We do." Shelby grinned.
"Anyways, do you guys have anything else to do?" Lottie asked.
"Nope you're good. Thanks for your help Lottie. Let mum know we'll be over soon to visit." I said hugging her.
"Will do. She's been complaining you don't come over as often as you used to." Lottie said rolling her eyes.
"Here. It'll help with your car." I said giving her two hundred.
"You don't have to Louis." Lottie whispered.
"I wanted to. Your car needs fixed. Mum has enough to worry about." I told her as she left.
"Thank you." Lottie said sincerely.
I nodded watching her leave. I smiled feeling Shel's hand on my arm making me turn around.
"What's up baby?" I mumbled kissing her lips.
"Nothing, Niall and Greg left so it's just us with the kids of course." Shel grinned.
"Well thanks for letting me know." I chuckled.
She rolled her eyes walking back upstairs.
I walked into the kitchen and got the pre made dinner out of the freezer. We made tons of dinners ahead of time the other day just in case shel goes into labor and we have to call a sitter. I set the oven and went to check on the kids and shel.
"Hi daddy." Lilly grinned looking up at me.
"Hey love what are you painting?" I asked sitting beside her.
"Just something to hang up in my room is that okay?" Lilly asked.
"Of course, we have to let it dry first." I smiled kissing her head. "And you'll need a shower tonight. You have paint in your hair."
"Okay." Lilly nodded as she continued her painting.
I got up walking to the twins room seeing them asleep already on Darcy's bed. I smiled small turning off the light before closing the door. I walked to Elizabeth's room seeing her playing with her blocks.
"Lizzy?" I asked.
"Daddy." Elizabeth smiled.
"Are you okay?" I asked running my fingers through her hair.
"Yes." She said pushing me away.
I laughed. "I'll be back."
I got up and looked for shel. I smiled small snapping a picture seeing shel adoring the nursery.
