Family Reunions

*Shelby's POV*

Lately I thought about missing Harry and what we used to be. I'm just terrified that it'll go wrong again because everything seems to go wrong anymore.

"Hey Shel, can you come downstairs to the backyard please?" Niall asked.

"Sure." I smiled small.

I followed him seeing the family here making me smile.

"Mummy!" Lilly smiled. 

"Hi sugarplum what are you doing here?" I asked hugging her kissing her head as I crouched down in front of her.

"Here." Lilly grinned handing me a bouquet of flowers.

"These are beautiful." I smiled.

"I'd hope so." Harry said shocking me.

"You're here." I gasped standing up to look at him.

"I flew out here to Ireland with Lilly. I wanted to surprise you the right way." Harry smiled.

I smiled hugging him as he wrapped his arms around my back.

"I missed you so much." I said.

"I missed you too. I want us to be like we used to." Harry said making me smile.

"As in marriage?" I asked hopeful.

"Eventually yes." Harry nodded. "I want us to take it slow though."

"Sounds perfect to me." I whispered kissing his lips.

"Good." He mumbled cupping my face deepening the kiss making the whole family cheer.

I giggled lightly pulling away from him.

"Why are you so amazing?" I asked him.

"I met you." Harry smiled pecking my lips one last time.

"Mummy and daddy's back together!" Lilly cheered making us smile even bigger.

"Congratulations guys." Greg smiled hugging us.

"Thank you." We smiled.

I smiled seeing mum wheel my grandma out. I walked over and took the seat beside her. Lately her dementia has been getting worse which sucks but what can we do?

"Hey grams how are you?" I asked taking her hand in mine.

"I'm good Anna." Gram smiled hugging me.

"It's Shelby. You remember me right?" I asked.

"Why you're getting so much older." Gram gasped.

"I'm only twenty but thank you. I moved to England a while back to be with Niall. That's why I'm not here much." I reminded her.

"Oh yes! Do you like it there?" She asked.

"I do I love it there. Hopefully you can come sometime." I offered.

"Well let's go now." She said making me laugh.

"Not now gram. I'm sure you could stay with Harry and I." I smiled.

"Who's Harry?" Gram asked confused.

"Harry come here please." I called out.

Harry excused himself from a conversation with my cousins before coming over to us.

"What's up?" Harry asked.

"Gram this is Harry. Harry, this is my gram." I reintroduced them.

"Hi, it's very nice to meet you. Shelby loves you so much." Harry smiled shaking my grandmas hand.

"Why you got my granddaughter, you're a lucky handsome fellow." Gram smiled making Harry smile.

"I am very lucky to have her." Harry smiled politely.

"I bet she makes a great wife to you." Grams smiled.

"That she does." Harry nodded.

Gram smiled looking over at the kids. "Who is that?"

"Those are my babies." I smiled proudly.

"What are their names?" She asked.

"Addy and Darcy are the twins, Lilly my stepdaughter is the little girl yapping her head off to mum. And Arabella is with Greg." I smiled.

"My you got your hands full." Gram laughed.

"I do but I wouldn't have it any other way." I said making Harry and Gram smile. 

"That's lovely!" Gram smiled brightly. 

"Shelby! I haven't seen you in forever!" My cousin Whitney smiled hugging me tightly. 

"I know there is so much we have to catch up on." I gushed. 

"Go on guys go enjoy yourselves." Gram smiled completely in love with Harry. 

I smiled kissing her cheek before walking away with Whitney. 

"So I had two kids. One you have met." Whitney said. 

"Oh that's amazing! Are they running around with mine somewhere?" I asked. 

"I believe so." She laughed.
