Labor Part 2

*Shelby's POV*

I sighed still in labor. Harry was out on the phone not wanting to make matters worse.

"Niall, can you get me some ice?" I asked.

"Of course." He said.

Harry came back in as Niall left.

"Hey babe." I said as he took a seat beside me.

"Hey how are you feeling?" He asked.

"Sore." I sighed.

He nodded taking my hand in his.

"Here Shel." Niall said.

"Thank you." I said taking it.

"Anytime." He smiled.

"Ow babe." I sobbed.

"Shh you're almost done baby." Harry said.

"I want this to be over." I cried.

"I know angel." He sighed kissing my knuckles.

I gulped burying my face into my body pillow. He rubbed my back.

"Let it out Shel. We know you're in pain." Harry sighed.

"It hurts so much I feel like I'm dying." I cried.

He kissed my head as I cried.

"Hey love, I need to check to see how far along you are." The nurse said.

I nodded and got situated for her to check.

"Ten centimeters. You're ready to push." The nurse smiled.

Everyone but mum, Harry and Anne left. The nurse prepped me up.

"Okay on the next contraction you need to push." The nurse said.

I nodded and pushed screaming in pain. "I'm never having sex with you again!" I yell at Harry bearing down pushing.

It feels like I've been pushing for a good 15 minutes before the doctor told me one more before baby a was out.

"One more and baby a should be out." She said.

I sobbed pushing again. 

"Alright she's out." She said and I smiled nodding my head at him. "Harry would you like to cut the cord?"

He nodded cutting it, the smile on Harry's face when he was cutting the cord from our little girl was priceless. I was so happy that one of them is finally here safe and healthy!

"Alright lets do this one more time babe." The nurse said.

"This hurts." I cried.

"It's okay you're almost done." The nurse said.

I sighed pushing.

"Good, good one more time." She said.

I sobbed pushing again. I heard another cry making me fall back on the bed in relief.

"She needs to go to NICU fast." The nurse said.

"Whats wrong with my baby?" I asked.

"Shh babe calm down." Mum said.

"Mum that's my baby." I cried.

"It'll be okay." She said.

Harry sobbed as they took the twins.

"Babe." I said.

He hugged me as we cried.

"I'm so scared." I cried.

"I know baby. We will get the answers we need shorty." He said kissing my lips.

"The boys want to know if they can come in." Mum said.

I sighed nodding my head needing a distraction from this.

"Hey Shel, how are you feeling?" Niall asked making burst into tears again.

"What's wrong?" Greg asked.

"Something happened with Darcy." Harry gulped.

"I'm so scared for her, she looked extremely tiny. Smaller then what I weighed when I was born a premie." I say looking at Harry.

He sighed nodding his head.

"Harry can we talk?" Niall asked.

"Yeah." He sighed following him outside.

"Are you having any pains?" Mum asked.

"Not really." I sighed.

"She'll be fine Harry." Niall said.

"You don't know that Niall, she's fighting for her life right now and I can't do anything about it." Harry cried.

I looked over seeing Niall hug Harry. I sighed and then looked at my mum seeing a nurse bring one of the twins in.

"Here's Addlynn." The nurse said.

"What about Darcy?" I asked holding Addy.

"She's struggling but we have her under control." She said.

I nodded. "Thank you."

She nodded leaving the room.

"Are you doing okay?" Greg asked me. 

"I guess so. I'm worried about Darcy, though." I sighed as Harry walked back in. 

Harry wiped away his tears taking in a deep breath. 

"Harry? Do you want to hold her?" I asked. 

"Yeah." He sighed. 

I carefully handed him, Addy. He smiled as she snuggled into him getting comfortable. 

"She's beautiful." He smiled kissing her head. 

"I'm so proud of you two. You guys are going to make wonderful parents." Anne smiled. 

"Thanks mum." Harry smiled. 

"Thank you." I sighed sleepily. 

"You're welcome. You should get some rest. You'll need it before you get home." She smiled hugging me. 

I nodded trying to get comfortable. Which it wasn't really working. I don't like hospital beds. 

"Hey sorry I'm late. How are you feeling?" Grandma asked.

"I'm hurting but it will be worth it. Thanks for showing up." I smiled. 

"Anytime dear. I wouldn't miss this for the world. Where's the other baby?" She asked. 

"Her lungs weren't fully developed so shes in the nicu." I said. 

She nodded understandingly. 

"I got to get going. Wyatt is home. I'll see you guys later. Congratulations again." Gem smiled. 

"Bye Gem." Harry smiled. 

"Is she doing okay babe?" I asked. 

"Just perfect." He smiled kissing her head.
