Interview

*Shelby's POV*

I sighed as I was getting my hair and makeup done. An interview for me was in high demand after everything that happened and we kinda need the attention for our shop. Sure it's going good but we could have it better with more customers. It's been a bit slow lately and since it's my main source of income I'm working hard to be able to provide for me and the girls. It's hard but it's tolerable. The only person with me is Niall. The girls are with their biological fathers.

"Shelby, are you ready?" A producer asked.

"I am." I smiled small.

"You'll do great. I'll be here the whole time." Niall said.

I sighed nodding my head as I followed the producer. James Corden was my interviewer today and he's super nice so I wasn't too worried.

"Shelby Horan everyone!" James smiled as I walked onto the stage.

I smiled waving to the fans as I took my seat.

"How are you?" James asked as he handed me a cup of wine.

"Good today." I answered honestly.

"So you haven't killed anyone yet have you?" James asked making me laugh.

"No not yet." I said.

"So what's going on with you and Louis?" James asked.

"I feel like I'm back in high school at some sleepover. These things are full of gossip." I laughed before answering. "But it's difficult at the moment. With the kids especially because I want it to be as normal as it possibly can. I mean look at who their fathers are and uncle. They're in the worlds biggest boy band. Its crazy to be honest but we're trying."

"Trying to what? Mend the relationship?" James asked.

"I don't think so. My main thing right now is focusing on myself, my fashion line and the kids." I said.

"Now we all know that Lilly isn't yours biologically, but if she were watching this what would you say to her?" He asked genuinely concerned.

"Lilly, wow she's a sweetheart. I adore her to bits. I know I'm not biologically her mum but I'm always there for her no matter what." I said.

"That's so sweet." James smiled.

"Thank you." I smiled.

"What caused you and Louis to break up?" James asked.

"James I honestly don't know." I sighed taking a sip of wine.

"If there was one thing you could change what would it be?" James asked making me think about it for a minute.

"Uhm I definitely don't regret having Arabella but maybe being more open with Louis. Sometimes I would've blocked him out not intentionally. It's just that when I was younger I went through depression and it started to come back a little bit." I said.

"Completely understandable. Now with your fashion line do you work with anyone or just famous people?" He asked.

"Anyone for the time being." I smiled small.

"That's nice. Am I considered famous?" James asked.

"Well do you need bodyguards to go with you places?" I asked.

James nodded.

"Then you're famous to me." I laughed.

"Well thanks I guess. That's all we have time for today. Thank you so much for coming Shelby, I hope everything works out for you." James said.

"Anytime and thank you for having me!" I smiled as I walked off the stage.

I found my way back to the dressing room where Niall and now Liam were sitting.

"Let's go, I want to go home." I said.

This chapter sucked but I hope you liked it. I needed to update and this is where it came as haha. But anyways I have a busy day tomorrow and wasn't sure if I'd be able to update. I sometimes feel as if you guys don't read these so....
