Reallly mum the dentist?

*Shelby's POV*

Today all the kids are going to the dentist for their check up. I haven't yet told Lilly as I really don't know how to break it to her. She dreads it. The twins haven't been before so I asked the dentist and he said it's the perfect age to make sure their teeth are coming in correctly and for a professional cleaning.

"I have to go to work, I can't go with you today." Louis sighed feeling bad.

"It's fine. Did you tell Lilly why they weren't going to school?" I asked as I put in my ear ring.

"She asked and I answered with somewhere fun." Louis said making me roll my eyes.

"Great now I get to deal with a tantrum because she hates the dentist." I said.

"Sorry I tried." He shrugged before leaving.

I sigh as I finish getting ready.

"Mummy?" Lilly asked.

"Yeah baby?" I called out.

"Dad said I am not going to school today, but he said it'd be fun. Where are we going?" Lilly asked.

"You'll see when we get there." I promised.

Lilly nodded. "Can I help you get the babies ready?"

"Sure!" I smiled. "Let's get the twins first, then Elizabeth and then Ara."

"Okay." She smiled walking to the twins room making me laugh lightly.

I followed her into their room where she was already going through the girls clothes. I smiled small watching her.

"Can they wear this?" Lilly asked showing me two outfits.

"Sure, find me two jackets to go with it please." I said taking the outfits before getting the twins dressed.

"Pony mumma." Addy said giving me a pony tail holder.

"Sure thing baby." I smiled as I quickly but carefully put her hair up.

"Mum, can you give me a brother?" Lilly asked shocking me.

"Not any time soon love. I just had your sister about a month ago." I said.

"You have a lot of girls." She sighed.

"But I love each and everyone of them." I smiled kissing her head.

"Now Elizabeth's turn." Lilly said.

"Mhm, Darcy and Addy make your way downstairs please we have to leave soon." I said.

The twins followed us out of their room before running downstairs. I walked into Elizabeth's room and smiled seeing her awake.

"Mumma." Elizabeth smiled standing up in her crib.

"Hi baby! How are you?" I smiled picking her up.

Elizabeth grinned as I got her dressed. I put a bow in her hair since it matched her outfit. Once I was done I carried Elizabeth to Arabella's room so I could get her ready. Surprisingly it wasn't hard as she slept through the whole thing. I walked downstairs and put the kids in the car before leaving the house.

"Mummy, can we get a dog?" Lilly asked.

"Uhm no. We already have one." I said.

"But mummy." She whined.

"Not happening Lilly." I sighed.

Lilly sighed nodding her head as she played on her iPad.

I sighed as well while pulling into the dentist knowing there will be complaints.

"Really mum?" Lilly groaned. "The dentist?"

"You need white pearly teeth. Thank me later when you're older." I said as I get everyone out.

Lilly pouted rolling her eyes.

We walked in and signed in. Soon enough we were called back. Lilly going first as she was the oldest. I sat beside her with Ara and Elizabeth on my lap.

"She's doing well with brushing her teeth." The dentist complemented as he cleaned them.

"See, and you thought the dentist was a bad guy." I joked with Lilly. "Thank you by the way."

"You're welcome." He said finishing up. "Now the twins turn and we'll be good to go."

Darcy hesitantly climbed onto the chair.

"My daughter is in love with your husbands band." He said as he checked out Darcy's teeth.

"Awe that's great." I smiled.

"Mhm. Darcy's teeth aren't growing the way they should. She'll probably need braces when she's older." The dentist said making me sigh but nod my head.

"But besides that how are her teeth?" I asked.

"Very clean. You're doing great work with them." He smiled as addy climbed up for her turn.

"Good." I smiled happy with the news.

"Mummy cleans my teeth everyday." Addy smiled making me laugh lightly.

"I'm glad to hear it." He smiled cleaning her teeth. "Her teeth seem to be coming in just fine. And as with the others the cleaning at home is going very well."

"Thank you so much! Girls what do you say?" I asked.

"Thank you." The girls said at the same time.

"You guys are very welcome. Your next appointment will be in six months." He said.

I nodded putting it in my calendar on my phone before getting all the kids back into the car and letting Louis know the news.
