You lied to her?

*Shelby's POV*

I'm starting to get that feeling that I'm that girl in a classic teen movie. You know the girl who gets her heart broken by some heartthrob and stays in her room for ages? Yeah that's me, although the plot twist is that the guy who broke my heart is an actual teen heartthrob and the father of my kid so I can't ignore him for the rest of my life like I'd love to.

I sighed walking downstairs. Greg came in and took the kids so I could have some alone time today.

"Holy shit you look like you've been hit by a train." Louis said.

"What the fuck is wrong with you? On national fucking television? You couldn't have made me look like a bigger fool. I was so shocked! My coworkers asked me why didn't I tell them and I had to say because I didn't fucking know. You're such an ass hole!" I snapped shocking the boys.

"Hey is Shelby awake yet?" Madison asked walking in. "Oh no. Louis what did you do?"

"Do I look like I've been hit by a train?" I asked.

"Well you haven't brushed your hair in forever. It's all knotted up. But besides that and the circles underneath your eyes you like normal." She shrugged.

"Ugh I'm going to shower." I said walking back upstairs.

I sighed grabbing a new clean pair of clothes. Skinny jeans and an oversized sweater. Niall's I believe but oh well. I sighed as I got in the shower. I felt so relaxed. I quickly washed my hair and body before getting out. I got dressed and blow dried my hair. Once I was all done I walked downstairs.

"How have you been Shel?" Liam asked.

"Besides the breakup I've been working and taking care of the kids. I haven't had time for myself." I said.

"I understand. Soph is in town if you wanted to visit with her." He offered.

"I'd love to soon." I smiled missing her.

"Mummy!" Lilly smiled running and hugging me.

"Hey baby girl! I missed you so so so much!" I smiled crouching down to hug her. 

"Why'd you leave daddy?" Lilly asked making the room go silent.

I sighed gulping scared to answer.

"Lilly, honey what about you go upstairs? Bentley and Andrew are playing video games." Madison said.

"Okay." Lilly nodded running upstairs.

"You told her I fucking left you?!" I exclaimed.

"It's true." Louis shrugged.

"No it's not. I watched that interview live. You told the whole world we were over. You made me leave. I wasn't going to stay when you've humiliated me like that." I said.

"The kids." Louis said.

"What about the kids?" I asked putting my hands on my hips.

"What did you tell the twins?" Louis asked.

"The truth? I'm not lying to my kids. I'd be furious with my parents if they did that to me." I said.

"You told them I broke up with you on live television? They're three Shelby." Louis said.

"Don't call me out on bad parenting when you can't even tell Lilly we aren't together anymore. The twins simply asked me why we are staying at uncle Niall's. Which they have every right to because it's different for them. I'm not going to lie to my kids." I said.

"I would want Bentley to know." Madison shrugged backing me up.

"Thank you Madison." I sighed sitting down.

"Shel?" Greg asked walking in with the twins and Arabella.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Darcy needed a breathing treatment. Her breathing started to get bad again." Greg said handing me Arabella.

"Thank you for letting me know I'll make her an appointment soon. She's due for a checkup anyways." I said.

"Anytime, I'm just glad you showed me what to do. Theo was so scared." Greg said making me smile small.

"I just want the whole family prepared just in case things like this come up." I said.

"Well I got to go. Denise is sending Theo to her cousins so we can have a date night." Greg smiled hugging me.

"Awe that's great! Have a good time!" I smiled. "Darcy come here honey!" 

"Yes mummy?" Darcy asked. 

"How are you feeling?" I asked kissing her head. 

"A little hurt but Uncle Greg helped me mummy." Darcy smiled hugging me. 

"That's great love." I whispered hugging her back. "I love you so much baby." 

"I love you too mummy." Darcy smiled. "Can I go play now?"

"Yeah go ahead, but if you start to not feel well come back down okay?" I asked. 

"Okay thank you." She smiled walking upstairs.
