Birthdays

*Shelby's POV*

Today is Arabella's birthday.  Shocking right? I know I can't believe it. I sighed getting out of bed and going into the babies room. Arabella was standing up holding onto the railing smiling at me.

"Good morning birthday girl!" I cooed picking her up and carrying her to the changing table.

I laid her down changing her diaper as she babbled as any normal baby would. I smiled kissing her stomach making her giggle.

"Hey babe breakfast is ready." Harry smiled.

"Okay I'll be down in a minute. Can you get Eliot up? He needs a diaper change as well." I said.

"Sure thing. What time is her party again?" Harry asked.

"Two. It's just a small family party." I said.

"Okay." Harry smiled. "One direction family or what?"

"Yeah, and mine and Louis's family. I just thought since she was Louis's daughter that would be best." I said.

"That's fine baby. I'm not mad at all." Harry said.

"I didn't expect you to be mad." I said looking at him as I picked Ara up holding her on my hip.

"Okay let's go. Don't want to keep the kids waiting." Harry said getting Eliot.

I nodded walking downstairs seeing all the older kids sitting at the table waiting for Harry and I. I smiled at them kissing their heads before sitting Ara in her high chair. I got their plates ready giving them their breakfast.

"Babe you need to eat as well." Harry said handing me a plate. 

"Thank you." I smiled warmly at him.

"You're welcome." Harry said.

"Happy birthday Ara." Darcy smiled happily.

Ara looked at her and smiled before she continued eating.

"Girls I'd like for you to help your dad and I decorate the house for the party." I said as I cleaned up from breakfast.

"Okay." They said.

"Go play for a little bit. I'll come get you when I need you." I said as they ran off to play.

Harry let the babies go crawl around.

"Do you need any help?" Harry asked.

"Yeah, could you get me the eggs. I'm going to make both cakes." I said.

"Sure." Harry nodded handing it to me. "What about you do the cooking since you love doing these things for parties and the girls and I will decorate the house."

"That would be great. That way I can keep a close eye on the babies too." I said.

"Good." Harry mumbled kissing my lips.

"I love you." I smiled.

"I love you too." Harry smiled walking out of the kitchen and into the living room.

"Decorations are in my office!" I called out.

"Okay!" Harry responded.

I mixed everything together for the first cake and then putting it in a small cake pan. I then put the cake in the oven before starting on the other cake.

"Mummy, are you making the fruit salad?" Lilly asked.

"I am, why?" I asked her.

"I just wanted to know. Have you started on it yet?" She asked making me smile small.

"Not yet I'm finishing up on the last cake and then I'll start on the other things." I said.

"Can I help?" Lilly asked.

"Did you ask your father? You're supposed to help him." I said.

"I did he said I can help you since you don't have any helpers. The twins are helping daddy." Lilly said making me nod.

"Okay can you get the fruit while I put this in the oven?" I asked.

"Yes I can." Lilly said.

I smiled putting the cake in the oven taking the other cake out letting it cool down before putting the icing on it.

"The fruit is already cut up." Lilly said making me laugh.

"I couldn't sleep very well last night so I got a head start." I said. "Go ahead and get the big bowl we normally use and mix the fruit all together."

Lilly smiled nodding her head as she done as told. We soon finished up with everything and went to check on Harry and the twins. The house is coming along great. So I got dressed for today and helped the kids get ready as well. Soon enough everyone was over at the house for Ara's birthday party.

"Happy birthday dear Ara, Happy birthday to you." We all sung.

I smiled putting the small cake I made for Ara in front of her letting her dig in. She grinned feeding me some and smearing it on my cheek making everyone laugh.

"Thank you Ara." I laughed.

"Can I get one last family picture of you guys since you're back with Harry?" Jay asked making me nod.

"That's the least we could do. Let me wash up first." I said.

"I'll get Ara washed up as well." Louis said.

Harry sighed rubbing my back as I washed my face from the icing. "Are you okay?"

"Faking it one last time so she can have a picture of her granddaughters first birthday." I sighed hugging Harry.

"You'll do great." Harry promised kissing my head.

I sighed nodding my head as Louis handed me Ara. I smiled kissing Ara's cheek for the picture as Louis put his arm around my waist smiling as well.

"Great! Thank you guys." Jay smiled.
