Are you serious?

*Shelby's POV*

I was washing some dishes when I heard my phone go off. I glanced over at it and smiled seeing Harry's name pop up.

"Hey Harry what's up?" I asked answering the phone.

"Can you or Louis pick the girls up today?" Harry asked.

"Yeah not a problem. Is everything okay?" I asked.

"I can't talk about that." He sighed nervously.

"Harry what's wrong?" I asked hearing El in the background but I couldn't make out what she was saying.

"It's nothing I got to go." Harry rushed hanging up.

I frowned putting the phone back on the counter. I finished up the dishes and then went to find Louis. I smiled small seeing him cuddling with Elizabeth on the bed.

"Hey babe?" I asked as I pulled my hair up into a pony tail.

"Yeah?" Louis asked looking up at me.

"Uhm, Harry called. He asked if we could pick the girls up today instead. He seemed rushed." I said.

"Well what did you say?" Louis asked rubbing Elizabeth's back as she started coughing.

"I told him I could. It's fine if you don't want to come with." I said.

"I'll come. Elizabeth and Ara could use some fresh air." He smiled small.

"We need to get ready then." I said as I walked over to the nursery. "Hello baby girl! You're awake and very quiet what is up with that?"

She smiled dropping her dummy. Thankfully it's attached to her Jammie's so it wasn't a problem. I un clipped the dummy and sat it on the changing table as I got her dressed. I then put clipped the dummy onto her new outfit putting the dummy in her mouth.

"Are you ready?" Louis asked.

"Yeah just got her dressed." I smiled as we walked out to the van.

I smiled lightly putting Arabella in her car seat buckling her in helping Elizabeth but all she did was throw a fit not wanting to sit still.

"Stop fighting me Elizabeth. You need your seat belt on." I said sitting her down.

Elizabeth screamed not happy with me. I sighed getting up front as Louis was in the drivers seat.

"Are you okay?" Louis asked me.

"Yeah. Just thinking." I sighed glancing at him.

"About?" He asked curiously.

"Nothing really." I said not wanting to talk about it.

Louis sighed as we pulled into the twins school. I got out and walked inside seeing the other mums picking up their children.

"Hi, I'm Samantha my kids adore your twins. They should come over sometime for a play date." Samantha smiled making me smile.

"That seems lovely, here's my number just don't give it out." I said writing down my number.

"I wouldn't dream of it. I'm sure your husbands fans are crazy. You keep those kids of yours safe though don't you?" She asked.

"Always, that's my number one job as a parent after all." I smiled.

"Mummy, did you bring the baby?" Darcy asked as she grabbed her things.

"I did, Elizabeth and Arabella are in the car with Louis." I said knowing they don't call him daddy. "And you miss need your jacket. It's chilly out. The last thing you need is a cold."

"Here mummy she forgot it." Addy said giving it to me.

"Thank you sweetness." I smiled getting Darcy's jacket on her and then helping addy with hers.

"It was nice meeting you." Samantha smiled.

"It was nice meeting you too. Text me sometime and we can make a play date for the little ones." I smiled as I left with the girls.

We all piled into the car and drove off to Lilly's school. The twins are in preschool while Lilly is at the elementary school. I sometimes wish they were together but oh well I suppose.

"You guys stay here I'll be right back with Lilly." I said noticing Louis wasn't getting out.

"Okay mummy." The twins said.

I walked out and into Lilly's school finding my way to her classroom. I smiled small seeing Lilly getting her things together.

"Are you Mrs. Styles?" Her teacher asked.

"Horan, but I am Lilly's mum is everything okay?" I asked her.

"Lilly seems to have distanced herself from the rest of her peers. Is there something going on at home that could make her be like this?" She asked shocking me to say the least.

"No, not at all. I'll talk to her about it when we get home though." I said concerned on why Lilly would be like this.

"That would be great thank you." She said.

I nodded as Lilly made her way over here.

"Hey baby girl how was school?" I asked her as she took my hand in hers.

"Can we go home?" Lilly asked.

"That's where we are headed now I believe is everything okay?" I asked crouching down in front of her.

"Can I talk to you and daddy alone when we get home?" She asked quietly.

"Of course, it's the kids nap time so I'll lay them down and then we can talk. Sound like a plan?" I asked kissing her forehead.

"Thank you." She whispered.

"Anytime baby." I said as we walked out to the car.

"What took you guys so long?" Louis asked as we buckled up.

"Lilly asked me if we could talk to her alone after we put the kids down for a nap." I said.

"Oh okay." He said a little shocked.

"Lil, do you have any homework? Your dad or I could help you." I asked.

"No." Lilly said looking out the window.

"Do you want to play on my iPad? I grabbed mine by accident." I said.

"No thank you." She said politely.

I sighed turning around in my seat facing the front. We finally arrived home and got inside. Louis and I quickly got the little ones to sleep before walking downstairs to see Lilly sitting patiently on the couch. I glanced at Louis, he sighed giving me a small nod before walking over and sitting beside her while I sat on the other side.

"What did you want to talk to us about?" Louis asked calmly.

"There's these kids at school, and they all make fun of me. I don't know what I did wrong. Bentley and Andrew tried to help but the others wouldn't let them." Lilly sighed.

"What do these kids do?" I asked afraid to know the answer.

"They hit me and say mean things to me." Lilly said.

"Go on upstairs baby. You're not in trouble for this I just want to talk to your mummy okay?" Louis asked.

"Okay." She nodded going upstairs.

"We need to have a talk with her teacher. I don't want her going back until we can fix this issue." Louis said making me nod in agreement.

"I agree with you a hundred percent." I said.
