Chapter 28: Here we go again

Gail's POV

Shemay pagkatapos ng nangyari kanina hindi ako amakatulog kaya heto tinatawagan ko ngayon si Carlienna para machismis ko sa kaniya yung nangyari.

Kailangan ko kasi ng mapaglalabasan nito dahil baka sumabog na ako sa mga nararamdaman ko. Pero siyempre nangingibabaw nyung saya!

Okay na kami ni Dictoj! Sa wakas! Inisip ko lang paano si Jiro? E sa pagkakaalam ko, galit siya kay Dictoj dahil sa ginawa nito sa akin..

*ring ring ring*

"Hello Gail?" Sagot ni Carlienna sa kabilang linya.

"Hay salamat sumagot ka! Hindi kasi ako makatulog.."

"Ha? Bakit naman? May nangyari ba?" Tanong niya.

"Nagpunta kasi dito si Dictoj and nag-sorry sa lahat ng ginawa niya sa akin."

"Oh. Anong ginawa mo? Ano sinabi mo?"

Ayun kinuwento ko sa kaniya lahat ng nangyari.. Yup. As in lahat.

Medyo naguguluhan na nga ako sa situwasyon e...

Jiro's POV

"How many times do I have to tell you that you should stop all of these. There's no more US Serine.. Stop this. You're just hurting yourself." Sagot ko sa kaniya na kanina pa umiiyak.

Nandito ako ngayon sa Starbucks ATC. Kasama ko si Serine ang naging girlfriend ko for 1 1/2 yr. Actually di ko expected na magbbreak pa kami. 

Serine is someone you wouldn't find typical or just ordinary. She's someone you'll get to awe for being extraordinary. Why? She's beautiful. Really beautiful physically. She's smart, independent, and most of all very kind as if you're always with an angel. She's a too good to be true human being.

I admit that I'm also hurt for seeing her cry like this.

Marami na din kaming napag samahan at napagdaanan... Kaso dahil sa parents niya, ayaw nila sa akin dahil yung anak ng business partner nila ang gusto nilang ikasal kay Serine.

"Why? You told me that you love me and that you'll never leave me? Then what's happening? Why did you leave me hanging? I fought for us Jiro.. I did. But why did you let go?" 

Sabi niya sa akin habang namumula na ang napaka ganda niyang mga mata at ang kaniyang perfect na ilong...

Alam ko na may nararamdaman pa rin ako para sa kaniya. Pero kung ipagpapatuloy lang namin ang relasiyon namin, magiging komplikado lang ang lahat..

**FLASHBACK**

"Jiro James, you need to be out of our daughter's life. This is for her own good."Sabi ng daddy ni Serine.

"Sir, I truly love your daughter. What's stopping you from giving us permission to have a relationship. I also have a wealthy family that has a successful family company as big as yours. So, what's the matter sir? Why won't you just let us both love each other?" Tanong ko sa daddy ni Serine.

"Stop calling me sir. Just call me tito.. I hate to admit it but.. I really want you to be my daughter's lifetime partner.. But.." Nag release ng heavy sigh si tito..

"We'll get bankrupt if that happens.. Because our biggest investor, will pull back everything that he invested.. He want's his son for Serine. Even I, myself eels hurt for forcing my own daughter to have a relationship with the man she doesn't love.."

Sabi ni tito habang nakatingin sa bintana ng office niya.. Nagkaroon ng katahimikan..  Hindi ko alam ang sasabihin ko. Gusto kong sabihin na andaming namang iba pang malalaking kompanya diyan na puwede pa nilang maging investor.

"But he left me with no choice. He's so powerful in the business industry that he can influence all our investors to pull back and stop investors inquire in pur company.. I thought, what about my daughter's future? What will happen to her if that happened.."

Napaupo si tito sa chair niya.. Ngayon naiintindihan ko na. Alam ko na kung bakit hindi pwede maging kami. Masyadong elite ang family nila compared samin though we're also elite but not like them.

"I'm really sorry that I'd have to do this to you kids.. I hope you understand Jiro." Sabi sa akin ni tito ng mata sa mata.

"No tito. Thank you for telling me this. Now it's all clear to me. Now, I unserstand.. That I have to do what's right.. Whta's right for Serine. Thank you tito."

**END OF FLASHBACK**

That day nakipag-break na din ako kay Serine.. Masakit man pero yun ang tamang gawin..

"Jiro.. Why? Why won't you fight for me?" Kung mapapansin niyo pala, full english magsalita si Serine. Half American and Korean kasi siya..

"Someday, you'll get to see things. Someday, your eyes will open and understand why our story needs to end like this." Sinasabi ko yun habang hawak hawak ang kanang kamay niya..

Hindi ko natiis at niyakap ko na siya.. Yung ulo niya naka-rest sa dibdib ko..

Alam kong pinipigilan niya yung hikbi niya kasi nasa public place kami..

Di ko maiwasan na masaktan ng sobra sobra..

Here we go again..

Me.. Flashing our memories together..

And her.. Crying because she wants us back.

Me.. Still in love with her..

And her.. Still in love with me..

So yes..

Here we go again.
