[Shane's P.O.V.]

Frowning deeply down at my phone's cracked screen, I can see Drew's name pop up on the caller ID, an old picture of him with loads of rolls of posters on his back aooearing below it. I can remember that day, when he decided he wanted to be some kind of a turtle and put all of the posters we were to be sent out for our fans on his back; I even went so far as to feed him an apple.

Snapping myself out of my reverie, I remember that this very woollen twat is phoning me, right when I don't think I can handle talking to him. He's staying in Bristol with Arys, after everything that's happened between us; after he asked me to be his boyfriend. He asked me. So why is he in Bristol?

"Twat." I press the button to accept the call, picking up my phone and holding it to my ear reluctantly. "Hello?"

"Is that you, Shane?" I hear a girl ask nervously on the other end of the line

"You're not Drew." I frown suspiciously, thinking for a moment. Then, my expression goes sour. "Oh, Arys. Is something wrong?"

"It's Drew. We were up on the roof and he cut his leg and then he passed out and when he passed out he kind of rolled a bit and dropped off the roof and now he's in hospital-"

"What?" Fear pounds through me at that; what happened? He cut his leg; how bad does a cut need to be for someone to pass out? And he fell off the roof? Is he alive?! Dammit!

"I really think you should come through and see if he's okay. He's not done anything really bad, like his leg can be stitched up and all, and he hit his head, but he's alive and he seems okay, and I think they're checking him over just now, but he's still unconscious and I don't know if that's normal and the doctor's asked if he faints around blood but I don't know and I think you should be here." Everything she says is seemingly said in one long, gasping, panicked breath, and I grit my teeth.

You don't know because you hardly know the guy! You met him two weeks ago, and I don't care if you're a fan or not, you're still trying to steal my boyfriend from me! "Give me directions to the hospital and I'll be through in an hour." I stand up quickly, hands shaking as fear pounds through me. Dammit, he'd better be okay. That idiot, what was he doing in a roof in the first place? Everybody knows he has terrible balance! Is he an idiot?! Dammit that was a stupid question to ask myself, of course he's a blithering idiot!

.Hanging up after a moment, I sigh, running a shaking and clammy hand through my suddenly damp mop of hair. He'd better be okay, dammit. That absolute-

"What's up, mate?" Luke asks me, lugging a snare drum across the room. Oh yeah, we have a tour in less than a month, and Luke likes to be prepared well in advance. I doubt a tour'll be happening at all at this rate.

"It's Drew." Laurence and Kier look up up from their issue of Kerrang! to glance over at me. I grab my hoodie from the back of the sofa. "He's in hospital."

"What?" Kier blinks in surprise.

"What happened?" Laurence frowns in concern.

"He cut his leg and passed out, and fell off a roof."

Kier snickers with clearly suppressed laughter at that, and I scowl down at him. Luke snorts, smirking, and Laurence face-palms, grinning from ear to ear as he shakes his head in disbelief.

"This isn't funny! Why are you laughing?!"

"He fell off a roof. A fucking roof. That's so typically Woolnough."

"Shut up. I need someone to drive me through to Bristol." I look between Luke and Kier - the two people available that can actually drive - and the pair just smirk back at me, still laughing their heads off.
