The wind outside of the house began to pick up along with your breathing. You sat alone on you and your boyfriend's shared bed as you waited for him to return home from practice.

Each loud crash of thunder made you jump, your whole body noticably convulsing. The anxiety you've struggled with since a child built up inside with every flash of lightening you could see out the window.

Shaking hands played tirelessly at the worn strings of you sweatshirt until you heard the next loud crash, causing you to dive your head into the nearest pillow.

Tears began to well up as rain pounded harder and harder against the window. Your mind went to Jeonghan, instantly worrying about him being out in such a storm. Such a though did nothing my merely increase your anxiety.

The pillow stained in frightened tears, you hugged  the blankets near, placing your hoody over your head with agitated, quaking hands.

Another loud bang was prominent in your ears, followed by another almost immediately after. Although, you knew better than to jump for this bangbwas nothing morr than the sound of the front door opening and closing. A sound you never though you'd be so happy to hear.

The sound of bags and jackets being dropped to the floor could be heard through your muffled ears. Jeonghan knew you like the back of his hand. He knew you better than you knew yourself. He wouldn't waist time making food or grabbing a cup of water before coming to find you.

He already knew where you'd be at. Being famiar with the anxiety such a storm could give me, he climbed up the stairs taking them two at  a time just reach you. You violently shaking form concealed by a hoodie and covered broke his heart, making him wish he'd been home sooner.

"Jagi," Jeonghan whispered in that angelic voice he knew would calm you down. Feeling the weight of the bed shift to the side, you knew he was occupying the space next to you. "I'm home it's okay now."

"I-I scared," you mumbled under the layer of clothing convering your face. You didn't boter to look up at him as you felt a pair of arms being wrapped around you waist, pulling you into your boyfriend's warn body. You lyed on top of him, head resting on his calmly rising and falling chest. Arms secured around your back, rubbing up and down to soothe your shaking form.

"Look at me," he whsipered, forcing the hood off of your face so he could see your tear stained, rosy cheeks that he loved so much.

Shaking his head, he made you sit next to him, legs tangled together, so he could get a better look at you. Never letting go of you, he leaned over you slowly to press a kiss upon your cool cheeks. Each kiss was to rid of the tears still prominent on your face. After doing so, he held your face still, running his thumbs under your eyes to finish up the job.

"There is nothing to be afraid of, (Y/N)," he continued whispering, both of his forearms on either side of you face as he leaned over you, wanting you to find a distraction. "I'm here now. You should've called me."

"But you were busy at practice." You mutter, staring up into his kind eyes.

"I'm never busy when it comes to you." He said, closing the space between you two. His lips warmly attached to your own, almost immediately washing away any nervous feeling from the storm that still erupted from outside.

Chest pressed against your own, you allowed yourself to get lost in the kiss, hands finding their way to his percect hair while his found a home on your hips. Sighing happily, Jeonghan, rolled to the side of you, taking you with him.

He burried you both in mounds of covers after shutting the lights out, allowing darkness to come over you both. But you weren't afraid anymore because you knew that Jeonghan was right beside you, ready to help you overcome anything that came your way.

Feeling circles being traced on your back sweetly, you smile up at him and place a last kiss to the side of his temple. "Saranghae, Jeonghan."

"Saranghae, (Y/N)." And on that note you both allowed a comforting sleep to wash over you both.
