Chapter three: In my veins

Previously

"Liam got us one of his men to fly is over," he said.

I said bye to Camila and began walking behind Colton.

When we reached the roof there was a small jet waiting for us.

I have Ally's life in my hands, and I am going to save her.

The cold winter air made my hair fly with the breeze. As I stepped on the jet stairs, I could've sworn I heard a laugh.

"Hey, did you hear that?" I asked Colton who was putting waiting for me to go into the air craft.

"Hear what?" He asked confused.

"I thought I heard a laugh," I said.

"I didn't hear anything. But I mean, It's the forest. There's a lot of sounds here that-" Colton was cut off by the jet captain.

"I was told you had to be there a few hours before sunrise. If we don't leave now, you won't make it on time," After taking a final look at the castle, I stepped into the jet.

"Landing in about five minutes. There will be a car there for you to use. I will wait here until your arrival, and will then fly you back to Liam's Castle," The pilot told us.

The nerves that had subsided began to rise once again. All the thoughts about what can and can't go wrong began to rush through my mind. I then felt a warm hand come to contact with my thigh.

"It's going to be fine, Lauren. I promise nothing's going to go wrong," I didn't have to open my eyes to know he was being honest. An instance cense of ease rushed through my veins.

After composing myself, I finally looked at Colton. His beautiful Aqua blue eyes met mine and I smiled.

"We're here," the pilots voice rung from the speakers and at that very moment, the fear I had completely vanished. Instead, anger replaced it.

I quickly jumped out of my seat and walked towards the door.

"Whoa whoa- wait. He hasn't landed yet; he just told us that we arrived. If you open that door this thing is going to plum," Colton said as he pulled me back from the waist. His hands fit perfectly into my hip bones- like they were destined to be placed there. I walked back causing him to release me, and looked at him.

However, before I could speak, A rather harsh thud made me trip on my own feet and felt myself begin to fall back.

Colton's grasp returned instantly and prevented my fall from happening.

"Wow, your reflexes are amazing," I laughed softly. As our eyes met once again, I felt my breath hitch. His warm breath was just above my lips. His eyes started to dart up and down between my eyes and my lips.

"We should get going now," I Said. The tension between us grew by the second. Colton nodded and I opened the jet doors.

"There's the car," I glanced at my watch and saw it was almost three am. Instincts began to kick in and I began to run towards the drivers side door. The keys where on the drivers seat. After Colton go in the vehicle, I slammed the keys into their spot and began to drive towards  Ally's house.
