"She chose you the first time, Camila. I wont be surprised if she chooses you this time around. I honestly just want her happy. Lauren deserves it, no matter what she does." I said.

"You still love her?" Camila asked me.

"Don't think I will every stop loving her, actually."

"Oh," She told me.

"I need you to do something for me. " I said. Camila grew confused. "I will lure Lauren to the center of Plain wood Forest, and you will talk to her. You have to get her to turn it back on, Camila." I said.

"She needs you," She looked at the ground.

"She needs me and Sebastian to stay protected, yes. But she needs you for everything else." I told her.

"How would I even be able to talk to her?" Camila asked.

"I have a plan."

Lauren's POV

The intensity of the dream was unrealistic. I touched her. I was beginning to forget about Chrissy completely. But her being an Angel? That's not possible, right? She was a vampire--a creature of death and night. Would turning into a holy being be possible for someone like her? Like me?

This early morning streets are too empty for my liking. The taste of the caffeine on the person I'm feeding from is unexplainable. Strangely, it alters the person's heart rate and its easier for me to find the person's pulse point. Not to mention how much sweeter the blood gets.

The wind is slowly blowing past my black hair. My jacket is only half way open and I know I'm going to regret it when I'm sick, but the thirst is too impelling. I stopped. A woman in a white dress and a forest green jacket walked a few yards ahead of me. Her walk and brown hair looks familiar, but I cant quite put the finger on it. I smirk, knowing my next meal is yet to come. Maybe a good time will fit her schedule. The woman stops, and looks around. She crosses the street. I decide to stay a few feet back and watch where she goes. I look down at my watch.

6:36 A.M. People should be getting up at this time. Killing her here wouldn't be the smarted move noting that people already have their eyes out for both the New York Reaper and the Miami ghoul. Great names for me, I give them the credit.

Houses begin to lessen, and trees begin to thicken. The cold air only gets colder, and my smirk gets deeper. The girl walks through the gates of the forest, and I use my vampire seeped to jump over the fence. I walk behind a corner and wait silently. Once I hear her foot steps come closer, I removed my cellphone from my pocket and opened a random app. I begin to back on the path walking with my head facing the phone in my hands. Our bodies bumped into each other. I let my phone fall (already cracked from the many times I have dropped it.)

"I'm so sorry, I was distracted and-" I lost my breath when I looked up. Her golden yellow irises were something that I never wanted to see again. Camila made me weak.

Camila's POV

When I noticed her disappear from behind me, I knew that I was correct. She was trying to lure me into a corner to kill me. That was impossible of course. I walked towards the gate, expecting her to be on the other side ready to attack, but Lauren wasn't there. I inhaled, and began to walk down the gravel path deeper into the forest. I saw her walking out, head down, eyes falsely glued to her phone. I walked slower, but her pace was fast.
