"I have to go," I said as I let go of her and walked towards the door.
"Wait," Ally said. I turned to look at her.
"Put this on," She handed me a ring.
"What is this?" I asked.
"I will keep your promise on one condition." She told me. "You wear this ring and never take it off." I looked down at the intricate golden ring in my palm, and then back up at her.
"Okay," Ally smiled.
"Until we meet again?" Ally said. I felt my throat become heavy, and a sob escaped my lips involuntarily.
"Until we meet again." I walked out the door and into the night.

Ally's Pov
Right as Lauren closed the door and walked towards the place the dark witch was about to perform the ritual, I removed my cellphone from my jacket pocket and dialed Lucy's number.
"Hello?" She answered.
"Lucy, she put it on." I heard her exhale the breath she probably was holding before answering the phone.
"Oh thank god," she said. "Ally, you have to get out of there now." Lucy told me.
"Where are you guys?" I asked.
"We are just at the edge of the woods, hurry up please, we need to get the counter spell started." The other white witch said.
"I'm on my way." I hung up the phone and placed it back to its safe spot. I walked towards the door and got out. The night sky was extra dark. It seemed as if the starts had gone into hiding to help Chrissy and Sebastian's plan. Maybe, just maybe, the odds and the gods were on our side the time we needed them the most.
Maybe, Lauren would be able to get out of this night alive.
Chrissy's POV
"How much longer 'till we get there?" The Sustay that walked slowly behind me asked.
"We're close. Just about a mile down this way and we'll be there soon." I said.
"Are you sure that we shouldn't have just called him back there? You know, without the rest of us there? Won't he get scared?" I turned to her.
"Why can't you just keep quit for a second! God, I miss heaven because at least there I had solitude!" I said.
"Sorry." Camila looked at the floor. I sighed and began to walk once more. The leaves crunched under my feet.
"If Madame Elik saw Gregory before she even were to start the ritual, she would completely stop it. However, if we intrude with the ritual and call him right then, she will most likely get distracted and it will be easier for us to get Liam's part of the plan done." I kept my eyes glued to the path in front of me. The younger girl did not answer.
"Camila?" She sniffled.
"Yeah?"
"Lauren's going to be okay," I said.
"I hope so."
We continued to walk in silence for the rest of the way. Soon enough, the figures of the other creatures became visible in the distance. I turned back and saw the Sustay behind me with her head down. I couldn't guarantee her that Lauren was going to live through tonight. None of us could. But this was the one and only shot we had to try to make her live. In all honesty, I am in love with Lauren, yes. Should it be hurting me to help Camila have her for practically the rest of her life? Yes. But does it? No. I want Lauren to live. I it's going to cost me greatly, but it's okay. No one knows what I have promised the gods above me if they are to help me save Lauren. That is strictly a deal between me and the heavens. If they are to listen, I will be the one to die in Lauren's place, that is of course, if the white witch's ring does not work.
