(An: There will be multiple POV changes.)
Camila's POV
I watched from the window as her sleeping body was carried into a jet. I love her, but she doesn't know. I crave her touch, but she doesn't know I exist. I wasn't careful enough with my words, and that cost me the last day I had with the love of my life. Why? Because I was stupid. I was careless, and clueless to what was in front of me. The best part of me, was now being flown hundreds of miles away from me, to return to a life she should've had.
Even though it seemed as if I didn't want to be close to her because I was remorseful, it was he complete opposite. I choose Lauren. I'd choose Lauren a hundred lifetimes ahead. I'd choose Lauren over anyone. Even if she was one hundred worlds, one hundred light years away; I'd find her, and I'd choose her.
I warm hand came to contact with my shoulder and gave it a comforting squeeze.
"She's really gone..." I said in a very low voice.
"She is," Ally began to rub circles on my back, and my lips began to quiver. Ally pulled me into a hug and I let all the sadness spill out of my body.
"What am I supposed to do now? I lost her." Ally pushed me back softly.
"We wait a few days, and then we go find her." Ally told me.
"What? What good would that be? She won't recognize me..." I reminded the witch.
"I found a loophole."

Lauren's POV
"Where am I?" A strong pain behind my head began to pounce. I winced at the feeling and quickly reached back and rubbed the spot that ached with the palm of my hand.
"We're going home, remember?" I looked to find the source of the voice.
"Oh...yeah. What happened to my head? Why does it hurt so much?" Chris looked at the ground and then back at me.
"You slipped when we were putting the suitcases on the back of the plane." I guess that made sense.
-
"So remember, don't feel overwhelmed about their questions, they just missed you a whole lot. We all did." Chris told me as he removed the last one of the suitcases, which I don't remember packing, out of the rental car. Chris closed the trunk and looked at me.
"I know," I said reaching out for one of the suitcases but he quickly slapped my hand away.
"After you." I inhaled deeply and began walking towards the door. When I right in front it, I froze. Was I ready to return? I had just spent the last three years checking off my bucket list and backpacking through Eastern Europe. Was I really ready to give that up. "Do you want me to ring the bell for you?" Chris said from behind me. I shook my head no and stretched my arm, letting my finger liner on the door bell. I pressed the button. Nothing.
"Press it again." Chris told me, and I complied.
"I don't think anyone's-"
"Lauren?" My head quickly snatched to the door. Inside, my mother stood tall. Her shaky hands covered her mouth and her eyes began to redden.
"Michael!" She longed at me and squeezed me tightly.
"Clara I told you I have to-" I looked over my moms shoulder. "Oh my god." My dad said.

Two Weeks Later
Camila's POV
I'm slowly starting to forget her smile. The way Lauren's eyes used light up. Her raspy voice, and the way she walks. I'm starting to forget the way in which her eyebrows furrowed when she tried to concentrate on something. I'm slowly forgetting her and it hurts.
Ally told me about the loophole she found the day Lauren was taken home. I was told to lay back for a while because she may remember me. I asked Chris to update me once or twice a week about anything that happened in Lauren's life. I learned that she applied to college and got accepted as a freshmen. Lauren also got a job at a restaurant close to her house. Most importantly, Chris told me he hadn't seen any of the witches, werewolves, or vampires that could be after Lauren.

Lauren's POV
"Sorry I'm late, Professor. I changed my major last minute, my counselor got me a spot on the class." I looked up from my sketchbook to the door. I recognized her voice, but I didn't know where I had heard it before. I watched as she scanned the room and then her eyes landed on me. Her eyebrows furrowed.
"Don't make it a recurring thing, Ms...."
"Lucy, Lucy Vives." She extended her hand for the professor to shake, and he did. I returned my attention to my sketchbook.
"This seat taken?" I looked up and shook my head.
"Nope." She dropped her school bag to the ground.
"What are we supposed to do?" She asked.
"We have twenty minutes to free draw, then we will get our assignment." I told her, but kept my eyes glued to my sketchbook.
"What's your name?" I finally looked up at her.
"Lauren." She extended her arm.
Lucy's POV
I immediately knew something was wrong when Lauren didn't move when she saw me. I knew she would recognize me, after all, I almost got her killed. I made my way towards her, expecting her to throw herself at me and try to rip my head off, but She never did.
I took the empty seat next to her.
"This seat taken?" I asked.
"Nope." She said.
"What are we supposed to do?" I asked genuinely confused.
"We have twenty minutes to free draw, then we will get our assignment." She wouldn't look at me.
"What's your name?" I asked and she finally looked up.
"Lauren." Something was definitely wrong. The only way for me to find out what had happened with her was by us making direct contact. Dark witches are the only type of witches who are able to do that. I stretched my hand for her to shake. Lauren looked at it, and finally reached for it.
I saw a completely different life than the one I knew Lauren had. Instead of killing the biggest Vampire clan, I saw an imaginary picture of Lauren climbing through the German mountains and exploring European fields. The way her hand started sweating made me pull away.
She was human.
