"Lauren?!"  Colton's scared voice rung through the semi empty home. When no response came the werewolf began running towards the staircase. He stopped.

Camila's head was on top of Lauren's as a pool of blood came out through Lauren's ajar mouth.

Camila's POV

"What's happening to her? What did you do?!" Colton ran up the stairs and removed Lauren's unconscious body from my own. Due to the state of shock I was in, I did not notice the blood flowing down Lauren's parted lips. After looking at the blood on my hands I snapped back to reality and ran behind Colton. Liam soon sped into the room and kneeled in front of Lauren, inspecting her fragile state. I wiped the tears that streamed down my cheeks.

"Ally!?" The young prince yelled. The sound of the small witch's rushed footsteps came closer to where I stood, and soon enough her frame stood next to Lauren's body. "This has to be done by one of your kind. There isn't anything on her body that indicates it being a doing if a vampire," Ally pushed Liam aside and took his spot on the floor. Ally brought her shaky fingertips to Lauren's head and gently touched it. I watched in fright as her brown eyes turned gray. The room around us began to shake.

"Oh my god, W-We have to get out of here, now!" Fear kicked into my system.

"What's happening?" Liam asked.

"Madame Elik is on her way here! I saw it, Liam we have to go now." Colton picked up Lauren's body and I watched in horror. That name was only meant to be q myth.

"Stop! We have to tell Chris." The fact that Lauren was human made her the most vulnerable of us all, but fact that her parents and many other people knew about her return to town, made what we were about to do very risky.

"I'll compel her parents, Chris cannot come. He is human as well and I cannot place other human lives on the line of possible death." Liam said. "While I take care of that–I need you three to take Lauren to the car and think of the safest place we can go. Camila, your healing powers cannot work against black magic. So I need you to find a witch who specializes in healing." Without a second glance, the young prince walked out of the door and towards Lauren's home. Colton looked down at Lauren's body and I watched as his eyes glazed with tears. If there was anything I was sure of now, was the fact that there was no way in hell that either, he or I, would allow anything to happen to Lauren.

"I was not informed where we are traveling to?" Liam said as he took sharp turn into a deserted road through the woods.

"I have a few friends in the woods. They will help us protect Lauren. There's a few vampires living there as well, so you guys do not have to feel threatened since most of the inhabitants are werewolves. We have a town's witch you we protect in change of good fortune and witchcraft needed as the town demands. I'm not sure if her magic is specifically healing, but I do know she was able to fix my broken spine with a few herbs." I looked at Lauren's unconscious body that lay in my lap. Even with her skin beginning to pale even more than its original state, she looked ravishing. The car Seaver violently to the left side.

"What was that?" Ally asked. I held on to Lauren tighter. Colton shifted closer to me and began looking out of the door.

"Liam speed up!" Colton yelled. I turned to look at him and saw a man with bright yellow eyes running towards the doo.
