Chapter Twenty: The Collision

"Be grateful I am letting your friends and yourself live. This is the most generous I have been in years." I watched as she closed the cap on the lid of the heavy, red, tin container and walked closer to me, and began to lift it above her body. She smashed it on my head.

Darkness filled my surroundings once more.

Liam's POV

I watched as the dark witch soaked Camila's small body with tree sap and her small frame began to convulse in pain. I winced as few drops of the hazardous sap landed on cheek, but tried my best to not make a sound. When her dated stalwart steps began to walk the opposite direction from where the others and I were restricted to. I shot my eyes open and immediately turned to look at Camila. Her face was blunderingly bruised. Pieces of the car glass windows were scattered around her face but the salty tears running down her face didn't seem to bother her. I pulled at the restraint only to get badly burned by the tree sap it was soaked in.

"Camila," I said weakly before pulling harder on the tight ropes.

"She took Lauren!" I Watched as the ropes around her hand began to loosen every time she pulled on them, but the pain would make her stop. The only way Camila would be able to break free from it was when anger was within her system momentarily. This was going to be risky, but I had to do it.

"She's going to kill her." Her eyes grew wide.

"Liam-"

"Maybe Lauren deserves it. She murdered hundreds of people for her own selfish needs... for her cravings." Camila's nostrils flared and her irises began to turn a blood red. Her body began to jolt foreword as she pulled on the ropes.

"Shut up!"

"It must be amazing to Madame Elik. You know, the sound Lauren's skin will make when her limbs are being pulled apart, one by one. And then, the blood. Mhm, The sweet blood will stain the dark witches' walls. It will be fed to the werewolves and Vampires on her side and-"

"Stop it!" I gulped in fear, her complexion was terrifying, but If I wanted Lauren to live, this was necessary.

"Lauren deserves to die! Why cant you understand-" I was yanked from the ropes tied to the tree and thrown to the opposite side of the dark forest. I yelled as a sharp piece of wood impelled my stomach. I tried to stand up, but was pulled up against a dark wood oak tree by the neck. My eyes widened as I saw Colton's eyes turn a dark shade of red.

"C-Colton-" The werewolf tightened his grip around my neck. He began to speak through gritted teeth.

"Say what you just said again!" He pushed harder against my neck.

"Listen to me," I felt the air begging to leave my body completely.

"I'm going to fucking kill-"

"Colton! Drop him now!" Ally came into view and began to pull back on Colton's thick muscle filled arms. "He was doing it to make Camila get out of the ropes so we could go save Lauren!" Colton stopped breathing for a second and turned to look at me.

"Is that true?!" He asked. I tried my best to nod my head due to the fact that I couldn't speak. Without another word Colton dropped me to the ground and began walking away. I instantly began gasping for air. Ally kneeled beside me and when I finally caught my breath, I looked at her in confusion.

"How did you get out? You were tied too?" She laughed.

"I was unconscious. I take it as she saw Camila, Colton, and you as Vampires, and she didn't care to check if I was one of them myself. Now come on, we need to get more creatures if we want to save Lauren." Ally said.
