Camila's POV

"I need time with her." I said. It's wasn't a question, it was a demand. I was not ready to loose the most important part of me.

Liam looked at me. He knew there was no fighting me about it.

"Camila-"

"Please." I begged.

"One day. That is all I give you." The prince said. I nodded.

"I also want to be the one to clear Lauren." Liam walked towards me.

"Camila, No. I can't let you do that," he said.

"You're not telling me what I can do with my girlfriend. I'm going to loose her Liam. I'm not ready for that. I just want to be the one to do it." I wiped the stray tears burning down my cheeks.

"Fine." Liam walked closer to me. "Make sure you tell her how much you love her—because trust me, it's going to hurt like hell." Liam unlocked the car, and I ran out with your another word. The cold winter air blew past my hair and my fingers began to go numb. The torches outside of the castle began to shine through the falling snow, and I used my vampire speed to get there quicker. I pulled the entrance door open and ran towards The room I had shared with Lauren.

-

I walked into the bedroom and watched her as she stood in the balcony.

"Lauren?" My voice was barely audible. She slowly turned her body to look at me. When I saw her puffy red eyes stare back at me, I knew that I would not be able to do the task in hand.

"How long did he give us?" She asked.

"Just tomorrow," I responded. Lauren's mouth opened slightly, but it soon began to quiver and loud sobs escaped her pink lips. I began walking towards her, just as she began running towards me.

"I'm so sorry," I said. Lauren's sobs grew louder as she buried her face at the crook of my neck.

After what seemed like a life time of the two of us holding on for dear life to each other, and crying our broken hearts out, Lauren pulled back. She looked drained, tears still cascaded down her eyes. She walked to the desk on the far side of the room, and sat on the wooden chair. Her tears were swiped away with the back of her sleeve, and then, she finally looked at me.

"I want to be mad at you, Camila, but I can't," I looked at her.

"Why?" I asked.

"I was going to get the cure for you. It wasn't until after I swallowed it that I realized this-" She moved her index finger in between us, "-was bound to happen when I gave that cure to you. I just realized we would have lost each other either way. So I cant really hate you for doing what I was going to do." I had thought about that.

"I know. But you were going to give it to me because you thought I was unhappy," I said.

"You were, Camila. I know that you still are." Lauren said. I looked down at my fingers, because she was right. I loved her, and I lover our relationship. But there was no use on arguing that I missed home, my parents, and my sister. Lauren suddenly rose from her seat and began walking towards the door.

"Where are you going?" I asked, scared for what she was going to answer.

"I need to perform the spell to wake Ally up. She needs to know how much I appreciate her before I walk away from her life." That stung. I ignored it and stood up, walking towards her.
