Chapter Twenty Six: Impossible

"Remember when you brought Camila home? I stood there, just watching from the sideline as you walked away with her. You walked away from everything that we were, but I got over it because you were happy. All I want is you to be happy Lauren." I told her.

Lauren gasped for air due to the intensity of her tears. "I don't want to hurt you," She repeated.

"Don't be afraid, you wont hurt me. I trust you." I took her hands in mine. "I'm here to stay, Lauren. Just ask me to and I'll never leave your side." The reaper's eyes widened.

"W-What?"

"Flip the switch, Lauren. Come back to me, baby." She began to breath heavily and yanked her hands away from my own.

"I-I cant!"

"Lauren-" The reaper forcefully shook her head and covered her ears with the palms of her hands.

"This isn't real!"

"It is! Just flip your switch and I-"

"I don't want her to hurt me anymore!"

Chrissy's POV

"Who hurt you?" I asked.

"Camila."

"What do you mean?" Lauren began to blur, and suddenly, I was back inside the room with red walls.

"No! What happened?!" I asked frantically. Sebastian flung the doors open and ran into the room. Camila, Colton, the Sustay prince, and Ally walked behind the tall Angel.

"What in the world is going on here?" Sebastian asked.

"Lauren woke up," Lucy spoke. "She knows something is up, but she will not question the dream. The dark witch is beginning to trust her, and thus keeping her distance from Lauren. But if the witch were to find out about Lauren's dream, there is no doubt that she will kill Lauren." Lucy said.

"Is she not your aunt anymore?! You can help her, Lucy. I need to finish talking to her!" I screamed. Sebastian held on to my arm.

"Calm down, Chrissy." Sebastian told me. I laughed bitterly.

"How can I calm down?!" I turned my head. When my eyes finally found Camila's my anger only grew and I somehow managed to free myself from the strong Angel holding me back.

"You! What the hell did you do to her!" I stormed towards Camila.

"What the fuck are you talking about?!" She stepped back. I followed her moves and pushed her. Camila fell to the floor.

"She said you hurt her!" I screamed.

"You don't know shit!"

"Lauren told me!"

"We don't know what she means! I have never intentionally hurt her in  anyway. I love her, Chrissy." Camila argued back.

"She trusts me more than she trusts you!"

"How do you know, Chrissy. How exactly do you plan to come back into her life? She has me, and that's all Lauren needs!" I stepped towards her.

"And how do you know that!" I said.

"She never once mentioned you while you were gone!" Camila yelled.

"She loves me, Camila. Lauren needs me, and you have to accept it. You cant help her!"

"Loved. Lauren Loved you, Chrissy." Camila told me.

"And how do you know that?"

"You are dead to Lauren!" I stopped. The room fell silent. Camila stood up and stormed out of the room followed by Colton and Ally. I looked at Sebastian. He shook his head in disappointment.

"What?" I asked annoyed. Sebastian turned to Lucy.

"Can I have a minute with her? Please." Lucy simply nodded her head and walked out of the room, shutting the door behind her.

"What the hell was that?!" My eyes widened  when I heard Sebastian say the 'H' word. I laughed.

"I thought that since you were a 'Grand Angel' you couldn't say that word, or curse words in general." Sebastian looked at me.

"Stop making a joke out of everything! You were called here for a reason. We have to help them. That woman turned your little girlfriend into a mass murderer and you are sitting here, laughing at my word use, instead of fucking getting your ass up and trying to do something for the world. Get your head out of your ass, Chrissy!" Sebastian yelled. I looked at my feet.

"I'm sorry." I said.

"I am not the one you are supposed to be apologizing to, Chrissy." Sebastian told me.

"No, hell no. I am not going to apologize to Camila, Sebastian." I said.

"Your words stung her."

"I don't care." I said.

"You are lying, Chrissy." Sebastian told me.

"What?"

"You care about Camila because you love Lauren, and you want her to be happy. Camila is the one that makes that girl happy, and you are thankful for that. Are you not?" I nodded my head. "You are thankful that someone like Camila makes Lauren happy, you cant deny it." Sebastian turned his head towards the door. "I will tell Camila to walk in. You will apologize and we will be good. Do you understand?" I rolled my eyes and nodded. He is right, Camila is my guiardian Angel.  Ironic, isn't it? I walked towards the couch in the center of the living room and sat. Sebastian looked at me.

"What?" I asked. He rolled his eyes and walked out the door.

What am I supposed to say to Camila Exactly?

There was a knock on the door.

"Come in," The door's handle twisted and her head poked through the small gap.

"I don't want to die," She said. "I was forced to come here." I laughed.

"Please, step in. I have things to speak to you about." Camila furrowed her eyebrows and walked into the room. The young vampire took a seat on the black loveseat in the middle of the room. I inhaled.

"I'm sorry. For everything." Camila looked up at me. Her eyebrows  furrowing even further, seemingly trying to find the lie in my previous sentence.

"Why do you hate me?" She asked me.

"I don't hate you." Camila huffed.

"You sure act like it." The young vampire told me.

"I think I have already told you that I'm jealous of you." Camila's eyes widened.

"You're what?"

 "She chose you the first time, Camila. I wont be surprised if she chooses you this time around. I honestly just want her happy. Lauren deserves it, no matter what she does." I said.

"You still love her?" Camila asked me.

"Don't think I will every stop loving her, actually."

"Oh," She told me.

"I need you to do something for me. " I said. Camila grew confused. "I will lure Lauren to the center of Plain wood Forest, and you will talk to her. You have to get her to turn it back on, Camila." I said.

"She needs you," She looked at the ground.

"She needs me and Sebastian to stay protected, yes. But she needs you for everything else." I told her.

"How would I even be able to talk to her?"

"I have a plan."
