"Lauren said, and I quote, 'You know what happens to witches who don't keep their deals.'" I looked at Camila.

"Oh my god," Camila said.

"Camila? What's wrong?" Colton came to her side.

"The words I cannot speak are buried in the deep," Camila said.

"What?" I asked.

"Lauren-Lauren said that the first time I saw her after she turned her humanity off. I what it means now!" Ally stood up.

"Camila, its an ancient witch riddle that even I cant decipher, I don't think that-"

"I have to go," Camila cut her off. She ran to the front door. Everyone looked at each other, and simultaneously ran behind the young vampire.

"What does it mean?!" I yelled as I ran behind her.

"The weapon to kill the witch is buried deep under her coven's house." Camila told us.

Camila's POV

The speed I was going on was dangerous. The car swerved out of the road once I neared the forest exit.

"Jesus, Camila! I want to get out of this car!" Chrissy shouted from beside me.

"It's not like you'd die if anything were to happen," I told the angel.

"You have to slow down, we are nearing the coven grounds. The rest of the journey must be done by foot once we get to the gate." Liam said. He unbuckled his seatbelt and scooted next to me. "Stop here." I looked at him.

"We can go further, I just don't want to-"

"He said to stop the car, Camila." Colton said from the backseat. I looked at him through the rear view mirror. His eyes were glued on the window, seemingly searching for something in the woods. The werewolves' eyebrows were furrowed.

"Daylight is flushing out. We need to get out of this car now and drink the potion." Sebastian said while opening the car's back door and stepping out. Ally, Liam, and Colton made their way out one by one. I was left alone with Chrissy when the doors closed in the small car.

"How are you feeling?" Chrissy asked me, eyes never leaving the dense forest ahead of us.

"I don't know how to feel," I said honestly. "What I do know though, is that you must be very happy." I told her.

"What?"

"Lauren's going to choose you," I said. "Her eyes? They speak volumes. Volumes for you," Chrissy finally looked at me.

"Camila-"

"Don't. Please, I don't want your pity." Silence filled the car. "I'm in love with her," I said.

"I know." Chrissy placed a hand over my knee. I smiled weakly. Although I had not had the most pleasant experiences with the angel, she was a good soul. I knew Chrissy wouldn't voluntarily come between Lauren and I, but I'm afraid that Lauren's mind has changed. Her eyes aren't golden for me, but for her.

"We should get going. I need to drink the potion and I don't know how long the thing is-" The Angel cut me off.

"I want to promise you something." I looked at her.

"What?" I asked the Angel. Silence was again. Her breathing changed.

"I'll leave as soon as the witch is dead," My eyes widened and I felt as my mouth opened slightly.
