Jacks POV
I turned the nobs to the shower, turning off the water. I ran my hands quickly through my hair to shake most of the water droplets away. I grabbed the towel and secured it around my waist and carefully stepped out onto the tile. I moved in front of the mirror and wiped the fog off of it. I looked at my reflection through the smeared glass. My skin was pale with red blotches from the heat of the shower, my shoulders looked flacky but they weren't. I was short, so the sink counter went up to right above my belly button. I looked back at my face and frowned. I push my hair up and slowly opened the door I walked into my room and grabbed some supplies. I paced backed into the bathroom and almost died by slipping on all the water I had left. I applied my deodorant and pulled up my green boxers. I pulled up black joggers, put on a blue shirt with a turtle on it and finally I pulled on a blue zip up jumper leaving the zipper open. I turn towards the door and take a deep breathe. I let it out and slowly open the door. I tip-toe towards the living room and see Mark facing the TV. He was watching some show on Netflix. I slowly approached him and headed for the other couch. When I passed him he looked at me and smiled. He paused the TV and turned towards where I was sitting.
"What's up JackABoy?" He questioned.
I had just had a flash back and I didn't know how to tell him..I don't even know how to tell him? It was about me H-hurting myself? I can't tell him that right? I wouldn't know how...
"Jack?.." Mark interrupted my thoughts, how long have I been thinking?
"Yea-yeah? Uhh yeah I was umm in the shower and I just- I had a flash back.." I looked down while telling him because I can't face people when I talk about my feelings. Weak, no good flashed through my head as I was talking.
"I see. Do you want to tell me about it?" I looked up to see him looking directly into my eyes.
"N-not really" I said slightly frowning and rubbing the back of my neck.
"That's ok Jack, I wouldn't ever want to make you do anything that would make you uncomfortable...just know that you can always come to me with anything"    He gave me a cute smile and I gave a fake smile back.
"Thank you." I said continuing through my fake smile.
"Now Jack are you ok?" I nodded at him, afraid I could possibly say no. Just sometimes I feel too guilty to lie to him. He continued to smile and stand up he walked toward me and tussled my hair, which was still a little wet, which shook some water droplets onto my face. He continued to walk away toward his filming studio. "I'm going to film a video, you should go get something to munch on or we can go out later if you want."  He said, then popped back into the filming studio. I dropped the smile and sighed. I put my head in my hands. "Why am I such a fuck up?" I whispered to my self. I slowly stood up and slumped over to my room. I walked over to the body mirror and lifted up my shirt and turned to the side. Fat, ugly, you're so fat, look at it. No one else looks like that. All you gotta do is stop eating and you'll be fine. Look how it rolls off..
I couldn't help looking at my stomach and how fat I was. How pale. How ugly.
I heard a noise followed by a knock. I looked into the mirror to see Mark looking at me in the door frame. "M-Mark!" I said loudly while shifting down my shirt. "Ho-how long have you been uhh standing there?" I looked down and tugged on my sleeves.
"I uh just walked in.."
He paused and walked in sitting on the edge of my bed facing me. "I uh had some technical difficulties and decided to put up one of my Pax Videos and film later on. Did you maybe wanna get out and do something or is your stomach still hurting?"
I thought about it. I really didn't want to go out but I didn't want to disappoint him. "Sure but where would we go?" I questioned. Mark looked out the window "hmmmm?" He inquired. "We could go umm roller skating? We could get some dinner? We could just walk around?" He listed. I still didn't have the energy to go out but I know he might want to.
I really don't have the energy for roller skating and walking but I don't want him to think I'm fat, and I don't even want to eat. "Jack?" I came back to earth. "Uh yeah sorry I was thinking." I trailed off. "I'm kinda emotionally drained from earlier so maybe we should go out to eat?" I asked rubbing the back of my neck. "Alrighty JackABoy! I'm going to go change and I'll meet you into the living room in a bout 5 minutes!" He said as he patted my shoulder and walked out. I heard him walk down the hallway. Fatty. You're going to get fatter!
Those words rang through my head. I started to hyperventilate. I looked at my night stand thinking to grab the Altoids tin. I ran to the drawer and opened it. I reached for the Altoids tin- "HEY JACKIE LETS GO!" I heard Mark call snapping me out of my thoughts. I sighed, closed the drawer and walked out. I saw Mark at the front door on his phone check his messages. I cleared my throat so he noticed me.
He looked up at me and smiled. "Alright let's go!"

Third Person POV

It happened so fast. They were driving home discussing future Pax East plans, when it happened.
It was around 18:00 (6pm), a fresh pair of head lights came out of nowhere, blinding the boys and hitting them head on. At first everything went dark and bliss then everything registered, at least for Mark. He lifted his head off the steering wheel airbag that was now deflating and looked up. He saw the front of his car destroyed and a car fitting like a puzzle piece into the broken parts of his. "Ughh- Ja-Jack are you ok?" No sound came from the boy. Mark used all of his energy to shift towards Jack, gaining a lot of grunts and ouches muttered by Mark. He gasped. Jack was laying there lifeless his upper half of his body on the dash board. The shattered pieces of the wind shield lay upon him. "Jack!" Mark pushed the boys shoulder. "JACK" Mark started screaming. Jack's cut up face, facing Mark. Blood oozing from his nose, a busted lip, his eye looked swollen and he was bleeding from his ear it looked like. Then the adrenaline kicked in. The noise came back not just bliss. The alarms of both cars going off, the faint sounds of an ambulance in the back round and the mummers of the people he just now realized was there. "Jack please" Mark said near to a whisper. He couldn't tell if the boy was breathing or not. The next thing he knew there were firemen cutting off Mark's door. "You gotta help him!" He mumbled.
But it seemed they weren't listening. "Please YOU GOTTA HELP HIM!" He yelled this time. When he looked again he was in a gurney being rolled to the ambulance. 7 or 8 people were pushing his gurney, he could see their mouths moving as if they were talking to him; but he couldn't hear them. "Please you gotta help him.." He mumbled. They rolled him into the ambulance as he continued to mumble for Jack. Eventually another gurney was rolled in next to him. It was Jack. He could barley look at him because of the neck brace but he did what he could.
He still couldn't hear anything, it sounded like he was under water. But he was able to make out
"We're loosing him!"
"Push another epie!"
He reached out for Jack his breath picked up as he realized that Jack might die. He heard a load screeching noise. It hurt his ears. It was the world coming back all the panic. A paramedic looked at Mark concerned.
"Sir were going to give you something to calm down you're having a panic attack." She said as he felt a needle pierce his arm. Everything started going fuzzy, he looked over at Jack one more time. He looked down and grabbed Jacks hand and Marks world went black.
