Jacks POV
We were on the way to Jade's apartment.
I was worried that I made a mistake by saying yes.
I just don't want to ruin her life. I'm just so bad?
I don't understand why anyone would want to help me. I tried not to think about it. I sighed and slouched down. I pulled out my phone and did the best thing I thought I could do for Mark; if he survives. I felt a tear slip that I immediately wiped away.
I deleted Mark's number from my phone. That way if he texts me I'll know he's alive and then I'll block him. Then I did the worst thing possible. I turned my youtube to inactive. I would no longer post videos. I deleted Wade's and Bob's numbers.
"We're here!" She chimed and I looked up.
I followed her down the corridor thinking.
'Oh my god I just went home with some stranger... what if she's actually an axe murder?!' During my thoughts she opened her door and I stepped in.
"Woah.." was all I could say. I walked in and put my suitcase down. I walked to the window and saw a bunch of baby looking cacti. There were plants everywhere. Hanging from the ceilings and on the wall.
"I guess you could say I'm the plant girl." She giggled.
"Ye-yeah" I didn't want to be rude. "But that's cool!"
She looked at her watch. "Hey it's pretty late let me show you to your room." She said leading me to a dark room. She hit the light switch and it illuminated a white room with a grey bed spread and a navy blue lamp and a closet.
"Thank you." I said putting my suitcase by the bed.
"Since tomorrow is Saturday we can talk more tomorrow but for now just try to get some rest" I nodded. "And please let me know if you need anything or help." I nodded again.
"Theres water bottles in the fridge and you can help yourself to anything in the fridge or pantries."
She was being very kind.
"Th-thank you." I said as she turned on the lamp and walked towards her room turning off my over head light. "Good night Jack." She said as turned the corner and went into her room.
I got into some pajamas and got into the bed. Turning off the lamp and trying to close my eyes. But all I could think about was Mark and how I've wronged him...
