You ended up in a big field, surrounded by nothing. You shuffled around whilst squinting. The whiteness was still burned into your eyes, and as they disappeared, doors formed across your vision. Doors that were scattered across the field. You eyed one of the doors, which was barred up in metal but was still openable.
Past all of the doors the field still laid open, except with an interdimensional portal half built laying in the middle, an unfinished boat, and lastly an empty swing set laying between the two.The swing set's chains rang through the open atmosphere whilst the wind blowing through them. You had no idea what that was about, because this was simply Ford's mind. Memories. The way he thinks.
You were about to examine the three objects laying out in the open, but a loud voice pierced your ears and echoed through the void.
"(Y/n)," he sung. "I know you're in here..."Bill, you thought. You forgot he still was in Ford's body. Was Ford stuck in here as well along with Bill, too?
You ran to the barred up door, and before you even wanted to look behind you to check if Bill was there, you opened it and got sucked in, door slamming behind you. It was fairly dark in the 'room', and you stalked around warily. You finally came to an opening, and there was Ford sitting criss cross on the ground, meditating, it seemed. You wanted to run up to him and ask him if he was alright, but something stopped you. He had someone else in the room as well. A man around his age sat by a desk, writing in a small notebook. He looked so serious as he pushed his glasses up onto his nose, but yet so tired at the same time. You stayed behind the wall opening, watching the whole scene. You couldn't tell...was this one of his memories?
You took a glance at what the room looked like, and you were horrified. The sights of the dream demon plastered all over the walls. Here and there, the eye seemed to be watching your every move.
You backed up a little more behind the wall, and thought if you should leave. But no, your curiosity pushed you farther to watch the scene play out. You wondered what Ford was doing, and who that man was in the corner. He never told you about a man he worked with before you.
Suddenly, Ford's eyes opened up fully, and they were pure yellow. This only sent a shiver down your spine, and you stumbled back to the door, accidentally pushing it back open. You fell on your back onto the grassy field. Staring eye to eye with the metal door, you shook your head. So, you thought. Ford was working alongside Bill and another man. What was that all about?
You were so curious, and the wonders you could find in his mind could be endless. Maybe...you could find a memory with yourself in it? Find out what his true feelings are-
Your thoughts got cut off by more of Bill's irritating voice. "Ah! That's what you wanted to stay up for? A way to get into Fordsie's mind?" He had an outburst of laughter. "It's very interesting, eh? Many memories of his are in here."He floated meters away from your fallen body. You only narrowed your eyes at him angrily. The showdown begins now.
