39. Finale

As said, Max kept your guys' son. He didn't move in with Adam and Alesa, but did move back in with Tim and Ross. Not shortly afterwards, Max left Sky Media. Soon followed Ross. The three grown men raised Tyler and many memories were made for years to come. As you told Alesa, Mason and Tyler did have many play dates. They hung around each other a lot, went to school together, and became best friends. Around the age of 16, Tyler came out to Max. He told him he was dating Mason and that Adam and Alesa knew already. Max just smiled and said, "That's my son." On Tyler's 18th birthday, he claimed to have only one wish. "Tell me about my mother. You've never talked about her before." Max sadly walked down memory lane and told Tyler the entire love story, including how it all started on a simple trip to Michael's.

"One thing I do find funny," Max smiled weakly, "happened the day before you were born. I had woken your mother up from what seemed to be a bad dream, for she was crying. I asked what was wrong, but she replied nothing. It was 'a good dream.' I asked her if she would explain it to me but she refused. 'I want to see if it'll really happen,' she said. 'Then will you explain it?' I asked. She answered, 'Yes, I promise.'"

"What's funny about that, Dad?"

"She promised she would explain her dream to me if it happened, but even if it did, she never got the chance to tell me. She made a promise she couldn't keep."

After graduating high school, Tyler grew on to take over yours and John's channel. He enjoyed watching the videos you were in. They were the only way he could see you. Max also joked around with Tyler once and told him, "When your mom and I worked together at Sky Media, we were both editors. Once at work, Corey came up to us and teased, 'Gee, even though you two are both editors, I wonder if you'll edit this love right here?' In to which your mom replied, 'Cory, there's no editing THIS love.'"

And so, life continued. What happened from then on? Well, we can all hope for the best. For example, Max healed himself to the point where he eventually found a girlfriend, and he knew you would approve and resume watching over him and Tyler as much as possible. After all, you can only see so much from above the clouds.
