It's August 17th which means it's Clarke's birthday.
(Lexa's was the day before)
"Dad I'm going to Clarke's!" Lexa yells well already leaving the threshold not waiting for a response. Lexa was wearing casual clothes over her outfit for practice at 10:30 with Clarke for gymnastics/dance. Lexa loved to dance because of her mother whom danced for a profession. Her mothers name was Anya, she passed away during complications during pregnancy. Lexa's father eventually remarried when Lexa was 8 years old to a beautiful respectable woman named Kennedy Brass who took over her fathers business at the age of 26 and was named one of the wealthiest women in California. Kennedy and Richard Woods met at one of Richard's book signings in Paris. The way Richard describes their first meeting with each other is "as if the room was silent and all he could hear and see was Kenz a klutz of a woman walking towards him or rather falling into him and him falling for her." Lexa loves falling to sleep to their love story as well as her parents first meet up that started with Anya accidentally punching Richard well drunk."CLARKE WAKE UP BLONDE BEAUTY!"
Lexa yells well entering Clarke's bedroom making fun of her messy hair.
"Five more minutes" Clarke says and covers her head with her pillow expecting the next move from Lexa. Soon enough Lexa jumps on the bed. "OH NO YOU DONT NOT TODAY!" Lexa yelled once more until landing on Clarke making her squeal by the weight on her back well Lexa leans to Clarke's ear to whisper "It's your birthday and if you want your present then you have to wake up and get ready."
Suddenly Clarke shoots up causing her to hit into Lexa face with hers.
"OW!" Lexa exaggerates rubbing her forehead well hanging her head over the bed laying down.
"Oh crap, I'm sorry Lex. I didn't mean to-" Lexa interrupts grabbing Clarke by the arms so she's laying down with her head hanging over the bed as well. "You're lucky it's your birthday blondie or else I'd might have to bring out the guns" Lexa flexes her very tiny arm muscles to Clarke causing her to laugh. "What's so funny?" Lexa says with a defeated frown. "These can kick your butt, Clarkie." Lexa stretched the horrid nickname to Clarke causing her to stop the laughter. "You didn't just-" Lexa interrupts "whatcha gonna do about it C-L-A-R-K-I-E."
The death stare begins then Clarke folds her arms and lays back down with an angry frown across her face. "I hate you" Clarke says under her breath.
"No you don't. You love me. And I, you." Lexa kisses Clarke on the cheek. Receiving a red blush from Clarke.*Clarke's thoughts*
Lexa just kissed me on the cheek. Oh my gosh. Why did that make me blush? Oh crap, she's staring at me. Don't look like a frozen tomato Clarke! Say something to change the subject, something! Anything?!? Hurry.Clarke's interrupted by her thoughts. "Earth to Clarke! Everything okay in that head of yours?" Lexa looks at her best friend of 10 years dumbfounded.
*clarkes thought*
Way to go dork. She's your best friend of course she would notice somethings wrong when you look like a red statue. Change the subject before she asks any questions because you know she will."Yeah, I'm fine. Now where's my present, Woods" Clarke said well pushing her best friends shoulder to convince her that she's perfectly fine. "OH YEAH!" Lexa looks with excitement. Lexa starts to walk to her gym bag till she hears a shout coming from Clarke's mom Abigail. "Girls, we are leaving in Ten minutes so be ready and down here in 5!"
Abby yells throughout the house. "OKAY" the girls say in unison and start to giggle. "I'll show you after practice, is that okay, princess or are you that impatient? Lexa says mockingly. "No, I can wait and what is with you and all these nicknames Lex?" Clark then rolls her eyes and both girls let out a friendly giggle. "You love them and you know it. Now get ready birthday girl or coach is gonna make us run if we're late again because you just love to sleep in." Lexa rolls her eyes well having her arms crossed around her chest.
"Whatever, go downstairs and get in the car. I'll be ready in five minutes."
With that Lexa leaves Clarke to change only to wait for her for 15 minutes rather than the five she was promised. "Really Clarke? It's gym not a fashion show" Abby glares through her Prada shades well driving out of the long driveway to exit through the main gate.
Abigail was the best surgeon in the west coast and made a lot of money to spoil Clarke with because she felt bad for always needing to leave to do her practice across the country. Clarke would rather have her mom than fancy material things. Clarke wasn't that type of girl. She always felt loved by her mother, but also needed her more than anything. Clarke never knew her dad. He passed away before Abigail even knew she was pregnant. She only knows that he must have been a great man because he was the only man to ever get passed a second date with Abigail. Abigail was very picky especially now because she had a young daughter to look out for.Eventually Clarke, Lexa and Abby were outside the gym and the girls ran as fast they could before their coach rang a loud cowbell to alarm everyone that whoever was to enter through the doors after the bell would have to run stairs in the gym. Luckily the girls made it wiping sweat off their noses and letting out a giggle well meeting the other girls in a 'stretch circle' where they were greeted by Octavia and Raven already stretching in pairs.
Hey ladies and gents! Feel free to give me feedback and any input on how you would like this story to play out. Alsooooo! Should Octavia and Raven be a thing when they're older? Let me know. I think they should, but advice will definitely be put under consideration if y'all don't like that pair together. Hope you all love it XOXO
(sorry for any miss pronunciation or spelling errors)
