Home pt. 2

As Clarke entered the place she has always known as 'home' she was welcomed by the sweet smell of coffee.

"Hello? Is anyone here?" Clarke yelled and started walking because she didn't receive a reply.

Clarke hated the idea of her mom living all alone but knew she was probably never home anyways because work took up all of her time even when Clarke was living there. Clarke could only imagine how many hours her mother was putting in without having to worry about spending time with her daughter.

Clarke realized her mother was at work and wanted to give Lexa some alone time with her father so she thought she would go to her room and FaceTime her favorite lesbians on her Mac.

©: Hey octopus! Where's your other half?
🐙: I don't know. I haven't seen her since this morning.
©: ugh. Did you girls get into an argument? AGAIN?
🐙: No. That's the exact opposite. We haven't talked? She's been so distant. I think she's getting tired of me.
(Tears fall)
©: what!? She adores you! There's never a second that she isn't talking about you when you're not around.
🐙: Clarke. You haven't been around. It's only been 'hi' and 'bye' for the last few days! Maybe a week now. She's falling out of love and there's nothing I can do to stop it from happening.
©: that doesn't sound like Raven?
🐙: I'm in love with this fucking asshole and she's falling out! (Sobbing)
©: OCTAVIA! Listen to me! That asshole is in love with you too. I know I haven't been there and I've been distracted ever since Lexa came back and I may not have a future with her like I wish we were, but I dead ass know that you and Raven have a future! You're both SOULMATES!
🐙: CLARKE! We don't! I tried to have sex with her and she pushed me off of her and went to go sleep on the couch! I cried the whole fucking night and I knew she heard me because I threw our lantern at our room door and left the next morning before I woke up!
©: I'm gonna kill her. (Tear falls) I don't understand? The last time her and I talked she told me that she has never been more in love with anything like the way she was towards you.
🐙: Clarke...I feel so alone and dead inside without her! I hate her so much but all I want is to have her touch and kiss me! What if we can't get through this?
©: come on babe. Stay strong. You're both gonna get through this.
🐙: I don't know Clarke. You should see the way she looks at me now.
©: Is there any reason Raven would feel this way and to shut you out?
🐙: I've been thinking about this every day. I have nothing! If we aren't at class or at work then we are together. I'm in love with her! She knows that! She knows there's no one else!
©: O...? Do you know if there's anyone new in her life?
🐙: CLARKE DON'T! DON'T GO THERE WITH ME! I- I CANT EVEN-
(sobs harder)
©: I'm sorry babe. I'm just trying to figure out how this could be happening. I'm so confused. I just know that she's always been in love with you and only you.
🐙: THE ONLY PERSON THAT I KNOW NEW IN HER LIFE IS HER ASSHOLE MANAGER!
©: No one else?
🐙: no Clarke! Like I said she hasn't been talking to me! I know she's not cheating on me with him because he's a guy and Raven would never.

The bell to Clarke's house had rung alarming the two girls.

©: I have to get that. I'll talk to you later. We will figure this out. In the mean time: keep yourself busy or stay at Bellamys?
🐙: I might do that. Bye.

Octavia hung up quickly.

"Lex?" Clarke asked in surprise.
"It's only been what? 3 hours? Don't you want to spend time with your dad?" Clarke asked with a concerned voice.
"I'm coming back next weekend. Don't worry. Is Abby here?" Lexa asked now completely level headed.
"No. I'm sure she's working more hours now that I'm gone" the girls laughed knowing that was absolutely true. Abby could never stay away from the hospital.
"Did you want to stay and wait or did you want to head back before it gets too late?" Lexa asked
"We can go now. Only if you let me join you next weekend? At least I'll be able to give my mom a heads up so she will be home when I come by" Clarke said with a pouted bottom lip making Lexa roll her eyes.
"Fine, but next time I'm driving. I was scared for my life on the drive here! BETTER YET! Keys please. I'm driving us home." Lexa said playfully.
"Okay, but I'm handling the music then" Clarke got her purse and locked the door behind her.
