"What the F- MAIA?! CIERRA?!" Lexa sprang up from her dull moment of silence and coffee after realizing her old friends she met in Australia were standing in front of her.

"You're right mate! Cierra and I were just as shocked to see you." Maia said well giving her friend a hug. "What are you doing here? What happened to Yale? I felt like we were just FaceTiming and you were sailing through it with straight A's." Cierra laughed "My stepmom called and was telling me how bad my dad has gotten so I came back to be near him" Lexa was trying to conceal her tears. "Oh Lexa. What stage is he in?" Maia said now in a soft considerate tone like the doctor she was soon to be. "I'm not sure. What's the stage where he has about 6 months to live at the most?" Lexa couldn't handle it anymore the pain consumed her and let out a tear and quickly wiped it away once she realized her two old best friends walked through the coffee house hand in hand. "Hey- hey. We're here for you, babe whatever you need. Just let us know" Maia said and her girlfriend agreed. "Do you both go to school here?" Lexa asked with the hope they'd be around to keep her company throughout the rest of college. "Yeah, I'm still trying to get my PHd and my baby is almost done with her courses to become a therapist." Maia said between kisses for her girlfriend. Lexa started to feel really lonely around the duo but was still so happy with amazement that they lasted so long. Maia used to be much of a flirt and Cierra was well...very straight at one point (Gross)
Maia never actually dated anyone but managed to get everyone in Australia to fall in love with her within an hour but Cierra.
