By the time Clarke made it back to her apartment it was close to 5pm. Clarke and Abigail already set up a helicopter ride to Abigail's and Richards street so it was up to Clarke to pack for her and Lexa. Lexa was still in fetal position when Clarke walked into the room making Clarke's heart break.
"Baby, you have to get up and shower. We are going to see your dad in an hour. I'll pack for us. I don't want to see you in pain anymore." Clarke moved Lexa's wavy hair out of her face revealing Lexa's red eyes. Clarke should've known to stay home with Lexa the entire day to comfort her. She felt terrible.
"Oh my gosh Lexa. I'm so sorry. I should've been here when you needed me the most. I'm here now and I will make this up to you. I promise. Now let's go see your dad." Lexa just nodded and walked away. The sight was unbearable for Clarke. So many thoughts showered over her thinking that Lexa must hate her and will reject her proposal. Clarke tried to shrug it off the entire flight. Lexa was still clinging to Clarke which made Clarke feel a little more reliable and happy knowing Lexa would still always need her.
Lexa's eyes were swollen and never really open. She napped for most of the flight. Clarke held her and cried thinking how broken the love her life was.
When the flight landed Kennedy was there to pick up Clarke, Abigail and Lexa. Lexa quickly felt a little less pain in her chest after seeing her only mother figure she ran up to her and left Clarke. Clarke didn't feel at all hurt by Lexa because she understood what she was going through.
Kennedy didn't look any better than Lexa.  She was the type of women who always went for the dramatic and fancy look so it was weird seeing her hair just in a ponytail. Kenn was definitely going through life with a lot of pain during Richards pain. Kennedy and Richard were in love and their relationship was one right out of a storybook.

"Hey, Clarkie

"Hey, Clarkie. I'm so happy you're here." Kennedy kissed Clarke on the cheek and hugged her tight. Kennedy was there for all of Clarke's life as well. Kennedy helped Clarke with homework and other things Abigail wasn't there for because she was always at the hospital. Clarke and Abigail will always be thankful to Mrs.Woods for everything she's done to help the Griffin family.
"Thanks, Kenn." Clarke smiled and laughed after hearing her horrible nickname.
The car ride was fast. Kennedy drove, Lexa sat passenger and Abigail and Clarke sat in the back seat.
Once the women met at Richards, Abigail took Clarke's bags home and waited there. Lexa ran through the house with tears pouring out of her eyes. Clarke watched and felt the pain in her chest again and got Lexa's bags.
"She will get through this. You just have to be there when she breaks down to put the pieces back together" Kennedy knew this from experience having had gone through it with Richard after his first wife passed.
"What if she doesn't let me?" Clarke asked with a tear rolling down her cheek.
"She won't. She will be stubborn at first like her father. Just don't give up." Kennedy held an arm around Clarke and walked in together.

"RACCOON! There you are" Richard was in his bed reading the newspaper that had a picture of Lexa on the cover with a headline that read "The next big photographer to take over LA"
"Daddy..." Lexa let out a tear.
"Come here, Alexandra" Richard patted at Kennedy's side of the bed and Lexa obeyed and laid on her dads chest well his arms wrapped around his only daughter.
"I've missed you so much, honey." Richard kissed Lexa head.
"I've missed you too, Dad. More than you'll ever know." Lexa voice was coarse by crying all day and night.
"I was so sad to miss Ravens and Octavia's wedding. How was it?" Richard asked with a smile.
"It was beautiful, dad." Lexa smiled.
"So where's my other daughter at?" Richard joked making it obvious he was talking about Clarke.
"She's with Kenn. I haven't been a good girlfriend to her for the past month. I don't what to do to make it better. I only ever make it worst." Lexa held her dad shirt tight to control her feelings.
"Lexa, you can't be as stubborn as me. I almost lost Kennedy after I lost your mother. I never wanted to let her in. You will only hurt yourself more when I'm gone if she's gone too." Richard was very forward with his deep voice to make what he was saying very clear to his daughter. He needs his daughter to be okay after he was gone.
"I promise, dad." Lexa looked up at her dad with a tight smile.
After an hour of talking eventually Lexa fell asleep in her fathers arms. Richard didn't want to leave his daughters side but he knew he had to talk to Clarke for his daughters sake and a piece of mind for himself so he can pass on with no regrets.
