A week had passed and Clarke was out with Kennedy, Abigail and Raven. Raven had just got back from her honeymoon with her wife and made it her job to be home for Clarke and Lexa like they were there for her. Clarke had been doing well with just her mom and future mother in law, but was happy to have Raven who knew all the great places for a fast wedding.
Lexa was out with Octavia and her father doing some ring shopping for Clarke. Clarke wanted to go to see if Lexa would get the right ring, but Lexa wasn't having it.
Indra was excited to meet the girl whom stole Clarke's heart. When Lexa met Indra it felt as if they already knew each other. The connection was rare, but interesting. "So Miss.Business-woman I know Clarke now and have an idea of type of person she is. I'm going to ask you the same thing I asked her: What type of person is Clarke Griffin?" Indra crossed her arms under chest like she did to Clarke.
Lexa was confident like Clarke had described her well answering and looked at Indra like she was the boss.
"My fiancé is very professional. She cares more about people than she cares about herself. So the way she looks never matters unless we are doing something that requires us to dress in fancy or professional attire but To say Clarke doesn't care about how she looks would be a lie. She can easily fling something on and look amazing yet she's definitely not lazy! I'm not just saying that because I'm in love with her. She is the type of person who is beautiful, but doesn't know it. Oh my gosh, she's simple but complex. It's breathtaking to say the least. Also, she would kill me if I didn't get her a ring she can eventually pass on to our children because she also thinks about our future so she would love something that said 'I will love you forever that even in another life I will look for you'. She also mentioned how she loves the idea of a non-traditional ring. Trust me: my fiancé is a visionary like myself. So Indra? Do you have a ring that would represent the love of my life because I don't think you do." Lexa crossed her arms and rose an eyebrow to mock Indra.
"Clarke couldn't have been more right about you." Indra laughed hard. "I got to say Lexa, you obviously know your fiancé a lot and I can tell you that you couldn't be more right about Clarke. But you're wrong about me. I just so happen to have a ring for Clarke. She already picked it out." Indra stepped closer to Lexa to intimidate her but the girl didn't back down.
"I know Clarke better than I know myself. I've known her my entire life. I promise you that I will choose wisely." Lexa stepped closer.
The girls stared each other down for quite some time until Indra cut off the tension and made it behind her counter to pull out 5 rings. 1 was traditional so Lexa instantly pushed it away. Two had purple making Lexa roll her eyes because Clarke hates purple so she pushed those aside as well. Though one had blue which is maybe what Lexa would choose to complement Clarke's beautiful ocean eyes and the other had emerald green that matched Lexa's: Clarke always mentioned how she loved how Lexa eyes fit perfectly with her maiden name being Woods.
"That one" Lexa said confidently."Hmm. Interesting. Why didn't you choose any of the others? Indra questioned Lexa's choice.
"Like I said: Clarke hates traditional so I ruled out that one. Clarke also hates purple so those two definitely didn't make the cut. The blue goes with Clarke looks wise but Clarke wouldn't choose a ring because of her eyes knowing she would one day pass it on to our children whom might not have the same eye color. Like I said Clarke always thinks of her people before herself. I chose this one because it represents us. Green reminds Clarke of my eyes which she says fits my name. When we marry she will carry my name making it our name and our families name that will hopefully carry on." Lexa smiled while her eyes were starting to get watery thinking of how amazing her fiancé was.
"I think I might have fallen in love with you all over again, Woods" Clarke had stepped out of the back room completely shocking Lexa.
"I can't believe you got that right. I play this game often with my clients and they usually don't know their spouse as well as you both obviously do." Indra was at a cross but happy at the representation of love being shown in front of her.
"I love you, Griffin" Lexa said well sliding her debit card towards Indra to pay for the ring before she shamelessly kissed her Fiancé wholeheartedly.
"Geezus give us a warning first" Raven covered her eyes and started to push everyone away from Lexa and Clarke.
"So did you get a dress or did you just stalk me the entire afternoon?" Lexa said between kisses.
"Oh honey. Wait till you see it! Its amazing! We all cried after seeing it on me. It took us 34 dresses till we found the one!" Clarke rolled her eyes.
"You'll look beautiful, babe." Lexa kissed her fiancé one more time before making her way towards Indra.
"It was nice meeting the both of you.I will never forget this day. I know when people are destined to be together and trust me when I say that finding a love like this is rare so cherish it" Indra winked and handed Lexa the tiny box.
"We promise." The couple said in unison.WELL AT LEAST CLARKE GOT HER DRESS. I don't know if it will be traditional or if Abigail and the others convinced Clarke to stick with white? I have no clue whatsoever. I'll do some thinking.
