"Moms? Umm can I ask something and please don't be weird about it. Especially you mom." Rosie looked to Clarke.

"Hah. Yeah. Shoot, Rosie-Possey." Lexa smiled lifting herself upright on her bed and taking off her reading glasses.

"I wanted to ask if I can bring a friend over."

"Rosie? Your friends are always welcomed here. You never ask what's different about this one?" Clarke said confused well Lexa was still grinning.

"Our daughter has a crush, Clarke."

"A crush?" Clarke said confused like she was way to young. "You have a crush on someone, Rose?"

"Moms... Stop. This is humiliating enough as it is." Rosie pouted.

"Yes. It's fine." Lexa nodded and winked at her daughter.

"It's fine? We don't even know who it is or if it's a boy or girl? Lexa! Ask questions first." Clarke furrowed her eyebrows at her wife well slightly slapping her arm.

"It's just a playful crush Clarke. We've had those too."

"No... You had those. I was in love with you and never dated anyone till our senior year and the only person I dated was you and now we are married."

"And that's bad?"

"Yes! She needs to go to college and then find her soulmate not now when she's still my baby."

"Mom. If I tell you who it is and everything to their mothers number will you let her come over."

"Oh my gosh she said her. It's a girl, Lexa." Clarke dropped her face on to the pillow beside her then screaming "why are they growing up so fast!"

"Don't mind your mom. She can come over I'll talk to her. Although we will still need her mothers number to make sure it's okay. Now go get ready for school." Lexa pointed to the door and smiled.

"Babe. Eventually all of our kids are going to be teens and have crushes. All we can do is be supportive and warn them about what can happen if they make bad decisions before they do."

"Fine, but you're the one giving her the sex talk!"

"What? No. We can do that together after she's in a serious relationship. That girl is just a crush right now."

"For now. And that we know of."

"I trust our daughter, Clarke. She always the top of her class and is very considerate and loving given the circumstances."

"You're right."

"I always am." Lexa slapped Clarke's bottom.

"Babe?" Clarke turned back over.

"Yeah, Love?"

"I'm still getting nervous. Her hearing is going to come up soon. She'll come back for us. For Rosemary."

"We will be ready. Rosie is our daughter."

"Exactly, She's our daughter now, Lex. Nothing can ever happen to her again. My poor baby has gone through enough as it is."

"I know that. I will protect this family with my life. Time and time again." Lexa grabbed Clarke hand to hold.

"That's what scares me." Clarke laid her head on Lexa's lap.
