Chapter 28: Welcome Home Willow

Julia's POV

I woke up and found a smaller body than Ronnie's next to me. It was Willow. I moved over and hugged her tightly. I wanted to be a better mother to her than Crissy ever was. She rolled over and buried her face in my chest. I felt my chest getting wet. I pulled away and saw Willow crying. I wiped her tears away. "It is okay baby. You are home now and safe." I said. She buried her face again and began sobbing. I know I shouldn't be doing any heavy lifting but I lifted her up onto my lap and hugged her tightly. I started singing Done For You by Black Veil Brides. Andy gave me an early copy of the new album because we are so close. He is my terror twin along with Danny Worsnop so technically we are Terror Triplets. "I love you Willow. I will do everything I can to make you happy." I said kissing her. "I love you mommy." She said. "Willow, you don't have to call me that yet if you don't feel comfortable with it." I said. She shook her head. "It feels right and I like it." She said. I nodded. "Let's go get some breakfast and find daddy." I said. She nodded. I grabbed her hand and we headed downstairs. Ronnie was nowhere to be found. I placed Willow on the island and got out the pancake mix and made the batter. I put three pancakes on the skillet and called Ronnie. I put it on speaker. "Hello beautiful." He said. "Hey, you left your two sleeping beauties home alone without a note or saying goodbye." I said. "Sorry girls, I went to go do something special for Willow's room. I will be home soon." He said. Willow smiled. "We will be waiting." I said. We said goodbye and I gave Willow her pancakes. She drenched them in syrup and ate them happily. "Willow, can you help me with something?" I asked when we finished. She nodded I led her upstairs to my room. "Can you mark my belly on the wall?" I asked. She nodded. She took the pencil and marked the wall for me. I wrote four months next to it. "Crissy, used to do it with me. With my height." She said. "Do you have a picture?" I asked. She nodded. I took the picture and I could read the numbers perfectly. I wrote all the heights from when she was born to her sixth birthday on the inside of her door frame. "There now we can do it on your birthday." I said. She smiled and hugged me. Ronnie soon came home. "Go shower both of you and leave so the guys and I can do Willow's room." He said. We laughed and showered. I got dressed and threw my hair in a bun. I helped Willow do her hair and I decided to take her to meet Tiffany, Jen, Christina and Haley. We were gonna meet at the park. "Willow, I am taking you to meet your uncles' girlfriends." I said. She nodded. We pulled up to the park and she ran to the swings. I followed and pushed her on the swings. Haley and Tiffany ran over and tackled me. "Hey be careful, baby on board." I said. They laughed. "This is Willow, my beautiful daughter." I said. They smiled and said hi. Jen came over with Christina. Jen looked upset. They said hi to Willow and then she saw the ice cream truck. "Take her to get one please." I told Tiffany. She nodded. "Honey, what's wrong?" I asked Jen walked over to the bench and sitting down with her. "Ryan and I lost the baby a couple days ago." She said. "Jen, I am so sorry." I said hugging her as she cried. I rubbed her back. "Jen, will you guys try again?" I asked. "I don't know. I want to like now but it feels too soon. I just want my baby." She cried. I held her close as the other girls distracted Willow. Soon Willow came over. "Jen, I picked these for you." She said handing Jen a bouquet of flowers. "Thank you so much Willow." She said hugging her. I smiled. "Wanna come play with us? I want you to join the fun too." Willow said. Jen nodded. Soon we were all playing a game of tag and Jen was happy having fun with Willow. We all went shopping and got Willow some new clothes and things. We then got dinner at Friendly's and Ronnie finally said it was okay to come home. All the girls came with to see her room. We walked in and I was shocked it was so beautiful, words could not describe it. Willow's jaw was on the floor and the girls were squealing with excitement. We all put Willow's clothes away and her new things then we headed downstairs to watch a movie as a family. Tiffany was cuddled up with Jacky under a blanket on the floor. Ryan and Jen shared the loveseat. Haley and Ron were on the beanbag chair. Ronnie was next to me and I had Willow on my lap. Derek and Christina were on the other end of the couch from us. Ronnie put on The Lorax because Willow and Ryan wanted to watch it. God I feel like Ryan is one of my kids sometimes.

Ronnie's POV

Once the girls were gone the boys came in with the paint. We painted the room quickly. We painted it gray and white. It was a light gray. I got the idea from my brother's daughter's room. While the paint was drying we ate lunch and put together some of the furniture. I went upstairs within four hours and the paint was dry. We set up the bed and furniture. I made her bed and put the pillows on it. I had her name sewn onto one of the pillow covers along with her name painted on the trunk at the end of her bed. Once we finished I put all her belongings away and told the girls to come home. They walked in and they ran up to Willow's room. They were all shocked. Willow ran over to me and hugged me. "I love it daddy. Thank you so much. It means a lot to me." She said. I smiled and hugged her back. "Anything for my bunny." I said kissing her head. She smiled. The girls put away all the stuff they bought her today and I set Willow down. She and Ryan ran downstairs to pick a movie to watch. "Thank you for making her feel at home." Julia said kissing me. "Welcome, I wanted her to feel at home and that we love her." I said. She smiled. "Good job Mr. Radke." She said. "Thank you Mrs. Radke." I said. Willow came running up the stairs. "Are you coming?" she asked. We nodded. She grabbed Julia's hand and ran. Everyone got comfortable. Willow was on Julia's lap and I sat next to them and wrapped my arm around Julia's shoulders. Before the movie was over Willow was passed out. Julia carried her upstairs and put her in her pjs. We tucked her in and kissed her goodnight. We headed downstairs and talked to everyone about Willow. We said goodnight and headed to bed ourselves. We checked on Willow and saw Charlie curled up with her and headed to our room. We stripped and changed into pjs. We climbed into bed and fell asleep. I am glad I made my daughter happy today.
