Chapter 18

Julia’s POV

“DUCKY!” I yelled up the stairs. “GOOBER!” Jacky yelled back. “Come watch a movie with me?” I asked. He ran down the stairs and tackled me with a hug. “So I will take that as a yes.” I said. He nodded and we got up. He plopped down on the couch and I got the popcorn and candy. I put on Beauty and the Beast. Ronnie and Ryan were off at the mall with some old friends. I wanted to stay back and spend some best friend time with my ducky. I curled up with the side of the couch and sang along with Belle. Jacky sang Gaston’s songs. I smiled at Jacky and threw popcorn at him. I pretended I was watching the movie and he looked confused. “What’s wrong?” I asked. “I thought I felt something be thrown at me.” He said. I shrugged and we went back to watching the movie. “How come when I moved in with you guys I didn’t get a big musical number like Belle?” I asked. Jacky laughed at me. “I’m serious.” I said. He fell on the ground laughing more. I pouted and went back to watching the movie. Jacky tried to make me feel better but I dumped the whole bowl of popcorn on him. I started laughing at him as he tried to catch some of the popcorn in his mouth. We finally came to my favorite part of the movie when Bell and the Beast are outside and Something There is playing. I sang Belle’s part. Ronnie came bursting through the door singing the Beast’s part. He picked me up off the couch and danced around with me. I laughed and kissed his nose. “Ronnie, you are my beast.” I said kissing him. “And you are my Belle.” He said. We sat down on the couch and finished the movie. I laid my head on Ronnie’s lap and my legs on Jacky. Jacky started tickling my feet. I started screaming and laughing. “Ja…cky…. Stop… I ca..n’t breathe.” I said. I fell to the ground. Jacky followed and continued to tickle me. “STAHP!” I yelled. I finally pushed him off me and started tickling him. He started laughing and finally gave up. I smiled and hugged him. I got up and headed upstairs. “Get ready to go out.” Ronnie said up the stairs. “Why?” I asked. “I have something special for us to go to tonight.” He said. “Ryan, come help me do my hair.” I yelled down. Ryan smiled and came running to my room with me. He placed my hot curlers in my hair and did my makeup. “Ryan, do you know where he is taking me?” I asked. He nodded and headed into my closet. He picked out my black pencil skirt and my favorite flower blouse. “Go put it on.” He said. I went into the bathroom and slipped on my flower lace tights, my black pencil skirt, a navy blue tank top and my white flower blouse. “You look gorgeous.” Ryan said in his gay guy voice. I laughed and hugged him. He took the hot curlers out of my hair and sprayed my hair with hairspray and put my black rose clip in my hair. “Perfect.” He said kissing my forehead. I smiled and slipped on my cute ankle booties. We headed downstairs and there Ronnie was dressed in black dress pants, a white dress shirt and a black tie. I grabbed his hand and we said our goodbyes. He opened the car door to me and I slid in. He shut the door and got in the driver seat. We finally pulled up outside the Geffen Playhouse. “Ronnie, you didn’t.” I said. He nodded. I got out of the car all excited and we headed inside. He got us the best seats in the house. I sat there all excited waiting for the musical to start. The music started and I held his hand tightly. I can’t believe Ronnie got us tickets to see The Lion King. I love The Lion King. “Free to run around all day, Free to do it all my way.” I sang along. I was like a kid in a candy shop.

Ronnie’s POV

I looked over at Julia and she had the biggest smile on her face ever. She sang along with every song. She started to cry when Mufasa died. I kissed her hand and she smiled at me. Throughout the rest of the musical Julia smiled and made me sing Can You Feel The Love Tonight with her. It made her happy so I was happy to do it with her. When the play was over we went out into the lobby and she saw a cute baby Simba plushie. “Ronnie, please.” She said tugging on my arm like a little kid. I laughed and bought it for her. She squeezed it tightly and gave me a kiss. We walked back to the car and she was humming along to Can You Feel The Love Tonight. We got in the car and I headed to the park. We got out and walked to the swings. She sat on the swing and I pushed her. She laughed and smiled. “Ronnie, I love you.” She said. “I love you too, Julia.” I said grabbing the swing. She leaned her head back and I kissed her. She smiled when I kissed her. I looked into her big beautiful brown eyes and smiled. Her eyes were more beautiful than anyone’s. She was so beautiful in every way. She got up off the swing and wrapped her arms around my neck. “You have the most beautiful eyes in the world.” I said. She smiled and kissed me. “Thank you.” She said blushing a little. We walked over to a field and laid down in the middle of it. We pointed out some constellations and made a wish on a shooting star. We stood up and headed back to the car. She smiled and started singing stupid songs. “I swear if I didn’t know you any better I would think you are high.” I said. She laughed and kissed my cheek. We got home and we headed inside. “Did you bring me back anything?” Ryan asked. “Ya, I got you this.” She said kissing his cheek and giving him a wedgie. I laughed at Ryan. Julia ran upstairs and Ryan chased her. I followed upstairs behind them. I got upstairs and found Ryan straddling her tickling her. I fell on the ground laughing myself. I finally composed myself and walked pasted them into my room. I changed into my pjs and set Lady and the Tramp up in my DVD player. “Jacky, please get off her. I want to watch Lady and the Tramp with her.” I said. He smiled and got up. “Thanks boo.” She said kissing me. She ran off to her room to change into pjs. I climbed into bed and she crawled in next to me with her Simba plushie. “I love how you watch Disney movies with me.” She said. “Well I enjoy watching them with you.” I said kissing her nose. She giggled and turned her attention to the movie. “Ronnie.” Julia said dragging out the e. “Yes, my lady.” I said. “Can we get a dog?” she asked. “Maybe in the new year. We are going on a lot of tours and I don’t want it here alone.” I said. “You said maybe and your maybes mean yes.” She said kissing me. I laughed and kissed her. We went back to watching the movie. She smiled at the cuteness of Jacque. She loved that little black yorkie. “Ronnie.” She said. “We are not getting a yorkie, a bloodhound and a cocker spaniel.” I said. She frowned. “Maybe when we are older and our lives get less busy.” I said. She then smiled and kissed my nose and turned back to the TV. She eventually fell asleep on my shoulder. I turned off the movie and lied down. I laid her down next to me and put her head on my chest. I put her plushie in her arms and smiled. I kissed her head and fell asleep myself.
