Chapter 9: Love Hurts

Julia’s POV

I was having a blast at Warped with Craig in the guys. I loved being able to “cuddle” with Craig without Leila walking in. I have heard from fans that Craig was spreading rumors about Ronnie. I didn’t want to believe it. So today I decided to go see them preform today instead of run to merch booth with Adam.  I got to side stage just in time for them to perform. Craig saw me and dedicated the first song to me which was You Are So Beautiful. They sang two more songs off the new album. They were about to play This War Is Ours and someone yelled out Ronnie Radke Rocks and Craig Mabbitt Sucks. I looked at Craig he was pissed. I started to walk out to comfort him. “You know what you miss the old singer he is locked up in Nevada go suck his cock.” Craig said. I was hurt by what he said. I continued to walk towards him. He then said “By the way anyone hoping to hear new shit from Ronnie Radke he just got caught with Heroin in prison so he is staying in there for a really long time.” Now I was fucking pissed. Ronnie is my best friend and no one talks shit about him. I grabbed Monte’s mic. “Hey asshole!” I said. Craig looked at me pissed but then he looked freaked out. “Ya you. Don’t you dare talk fucking shit to these kids. And don’t talk shit about my best friends. Stop spreading fucking lies. I thought you were all better than this guys. You are all mine and Ronnie’s best friends. Craig you are my boyfriend you should not be being a dick to my friends. Ronnie is my fucking family. We’re done Craig. Hope your glad you fucked up the best relationship you ever had. And guys Ronnie did not get caught with Heroin. He has been sober for over a year now and is writing new music every day. Enjoy the rest of this show with their shitty ass singer.” I said. Monte, Max, and Rob looked at me. I knew that meant we needed to talk later. “Wait Julia.” Craig said. “FUCK OFF CRAIG!” I yelled. I ran off and sat behind the Escape The Fate bus balling my eyes out. I felt someone sit down next to me. I looked up it was Jeremy from ADTR. We have grown close since Warped started. He knew everything. “Hey I heard what happened.” He said. “Jeremy. I want to go home. I want Ronnie.” I said. He pulled me close and hugged me tightly. I cried into his chest. “Please don’t leave. Come stay on our bus and be our merch girl.” He said. “Will that be okay with the guys?” I asked. “If I told Josh and Neil right now they would throw a party.” He said. I laughed. We headed onto the bus and packed my things. We made our way over to the ADTR bus. Craig saw us and ran towards us. We got onto the bus and locked the door. I collapsed crying on the floor. I heard Jeremy go outside.

Jeremy’s POV

“Craig leave now.” I said. “Please Jeremy. Let me talk to her.” Craig pleaded. “Craig you have been talking shit about Ronnie since Warped Tour started. Ronnie is her family. He was her only family till her dad got sober. What you did is unforgivable. You will be lucky if she ever talks to you again.” I said. He started to open his mouth but then closed it and left. I walked back on the bus and found Julia sitting there with two fresh cuts on her arm. I sighed and cleaned up her arm. She didn’t tell me where the blade was. I would find it later though. She went to the empty bunk and laid down. She cried herself to sleep. I felt so bad for her.  Me and the guys talked. “Ya Julia is staying with us for the rest of Warped as our merch girl.” I said. They all smiled. I knew they were happy that she was here. “I call a drunken hook up please.” Neil said. We all laughed. “No her and Craig broke up. They were together for about a year and a half.” I said. Neil frowned. He really liked Julia but I knew Julia only loved him as a big brother. Julia woke up and got something to eat and went back to bed. Alex went and laid down with her when she started crying again. I heard him singing If It Means A lot To You. Alex was such an amazing friend to Julia everytime she was sad and needed someone. Around nine Monte, Max, and Rob walked over. I let them in. Julia got up. She looked at them and sighed. “Outside guys.” She said. They followed her outside. I didn’t want to snoop because I knew she would tell me later. After about 30 minutes Julia came back in. “Well?” I asked. “Me and them are fine. They do not support what Craig has been saying. They have told him to quit it but he won’t” she said. “Okay well that is good that you guys are still friends.” I said. “Ya and Jeremy.” She said. “What?” I asked. “Can Rob sleepover tonight? Please.” She asked. “Ya sure.” I said. She ran outside and brought Rob in. “Thanks Jeremy.” He said. They went back to her bunk and went to bed.
