Chapter 4: Please Don't Leave Me

Months Later

Julia's POV

Me and Craig got up early to make a special birthday breakfast for Leila. Craig finished making pancakes and I went upstairs to get Leila. "Leila." I said shaking her gently. "Morning Julia." she said. "Happy Birthday." I said hugging her. "Thank you." She said hugging me back and wrapping her legs around my waist. I carried her downstairs. "Morning Daddy." she said. "Morning Baby." Craig said taking Leila. He put Leila down in a chair and I lit the candle in her pancakes. We sang happy birthday. She blew out the candle and giggled. I put some whipped cream on my finger and put it on her nose. She grabbed a handful of it and put it on my cheek. "Oh no you didn't" I said laughing. I grabbed the whipped cream canister and sprayed some on her face. "Help me Daddy." she giggled. He grabbed another can from the fridge and we started having a whipped cream fight. I grabbed Leila and used her a shield from Craig. We finally stopped and ate breakfast. "Here Leila have some more whipped cream." I said taking some whipped cream off her hair and put it on her pancakes. "Thank you" she said. We finished eating. I took Leila upstairs and helped her take a bath. After I finished helping her I went and took a shower. I got out and got dressed. "Julia I'm going to go take a shower. Leila is downstairs watching Cinderella." Craig said. "Okay boo." I said kissing him. I went downstairs and sat with Leila on the couch. "Julia I love you." Leila said. "I love you too Leila." I said hugging her. She buried her face in my neck. I really love this little girl. "I want to live with you and daddy." she said. "Leila I don't live here with your daddy even though I might like to though but I don't know." I said. "Please Julia." she said. "Maybe Leila. I can't promise." I said. "Okay." she said. Craig came downstairs and I followed him into the kitchen. "Craig she wants to live with you and me." I said. "Then we can have her live here. I just need you." he said. "Craig I can't I need to be with my dad and stuff." I said. "Don't worry I understand." he said giving me a kiss. "I don't deserve you." I said. "Yes you do." he said hugging me. "And we have to have dinner tonight with my mom, Gabby, and her parents for Leila's birthday." he said. "WHAT NO!" I yelled. "Please I need you with me Julia." he said. "Fine but if Gabby says one rude thing to me I'm leaving." I said. "Yay." he said hugging me. We grabbed Leila and headed off to the park. After an hour or two me and Craig decided to give Leila her surprise birthday gift. "Leila come on. We are gonna give you our gift." I said. I picked her up and we headed to Monte's house. "Monte can you bring Leila's gift down here." I yelled. "Ya hold on a sec." he said. I covered her eyes and Monte brought her gift downstairs. "Happy Birthday Leila." I said uncovering her eyes. "A PUPPY!" she yelled all excited. "Ya a puppy." Craig said. "What are you gonna name her?" Monte said. "Uh I wanna name her Lyric." Leila said. I smiled and Leila went off and played with her.

Monte's POV

Craig and Julia came over with Leila to get the Yorkie puppy they bought her for her birthday. I hugged Julia. "I went to see Ronnie. And he is doing better." I said. "That's good." Julia said looking sad. Craig went to go check on Leila. "Ronnie wants you to come visit." I said. "I know I have visited a lot but not everyday." she said. She started crying. I hugged her tightly. "I know I miss him too Julia." I said. She calmed down. "Monte what's really bothering me is I use to be so close to him and now I'm not." she said. "I know I'm sorry I wish I could change things for you." I said. We talked a little bit and she said she was going tomorrow to see him. "Craig. Rob, Omar, and Max are coming over to see Leila." I yelled. "Okay Monte." he said coming in the room with Leila and Lyric. I got up and answered the door. "Hey guys." I said. "Hey" Max said running into the living room. "Maxie Pad." I heard Julia scream. "Hi Uncle Max." Leila screamed hugging him. "Hey birthday girl." he said. "For you." he said handing Leila a bag. She ripped it open and there was a real 100% accurate Cinderella dress. "Max I love it." Leila squealed hugging him. "Glad you like it." he said. Rob gave her a couple Escape The Fate shirts and A princess tiara. Omar gave her gold heart shaped locket. "Thank you Uncle Omar and Rob." she said hugging them. Julia hugged the guys. We all sang Leila happy birthday and Julia, Craig, Leila and Lyric headed off to dinner with Gabby, Craig's mom, and Gabby's parents. "Bye I'll be in hell if you need me." Julia said. All of us started laughing.
