Chapter 34: What A First Date

Julia’s POV

I groaned as I rolled over in bed and found Ronnie missing. I got out of bed and headed downstairs. I heard Willow and Peyton laughing. We have been home for about a three weeks. Peyton decided to come home with us so she could spend more time with us. Our mom and dad are back together which is really nice. Ronnie and the guys did play some shows here and there. Willow came running around the corner and screamed. I hugged her tightly and she hugged me back. “Uncle Max is coming over.” She said. “He is?” I said. Max has taken a real liking to Peyton which is really cute. “Ya, he wants to see his best friend and his favorite niece.” She said. I nodded and went into the kitchen with her. Peyton handed me a plate with toast and eggs. I thanked her and started eating. “Willow and I were thinking of going to get our nails done. Would you like to join?” Peyton asked. “I would love to.” I said. I finished eating and placed my dishes in the sink. “Do you know where Ronnie went?” I asked Peyton. “He said something about going to the studio and then getting a surprise for Iris.” She said. I nodded and headed up to shower. Ronnie is probably working on his solo stuff. He wants to try to rap but I know he can. I got dressed quickly and headed downstairs. I heard Willow laughing and saw Max tickling her to death as Charlie ran around the room. I started laughing and let Charlie outside. “Hello Maxie Pad, how have you been?” I asked. “Great, why are you guys all dressed?” he asked. “We are going to get manicures. Would you like to come?” I asked. “Well you ladies need something or someone to entertain you.” He said as he looked over at Peyton. It looked like she was blushing. I grabbed my purse and keys then we all headed to the car. I actually call it an army tank since it is so huge. We pulled up to the nail place and headed inside. Willow managed to convince Max on the way to the nail salon to get his nails done. We all sat down and got our nails done. Max got his painted black so they would be somewhat manly. We finished getting our nails done and headed to get some frozen yogurt per Willow’s request. “So you have two and a half more months left?” Max said. I nodded. “All of us have been talking since we got back about what we want to do when Iris gets here and Max we want you to be Iris’s godfather and Peyton we want you to be her godmother.” I said. Max got up and did a little dance. “Thank you.” He said hugging me. “Thanks.” Peyton said. “What about Ryan and Tiffany?” Max asked. “We have decided they are Willow’s godparents which made Willow happy when she found out.” I said. Willow smiled up at us and she had frozen yogurt all over her face. “You are so your father’s daughter.” I said. She smiled and wiped her face off. We got up and headed home. Once we got home I noticed Ronnie’s car was home and I saw Charlie in the window looking for Willow. Charlie and Willow are best friends and they sleep together every night now. We all headed inside. “Julia!” Ronnie yelled down the stairs. “Hi, we’re home and we have Max.” I said. He came running down the stairs and kissed me. I smiled and hugged him. “I have bought an early present for Iris. Since Willow has Charlie, I thought Iris could use a friend too. So I got her a puppy also a friend for Charlie too in a way. This is Sweetie.” He said leading us out to the backyard where a brown pitbull puppy was waiting. Charlie barked and ran over kissing Sweetie. “She is so cute.” We all said. We all headed inside and let the dogs play. We headed inside when all of a sudden Max pulled me into the bathroom. “What is going on?” I asked. “Can I please ask your beautiful sister out on a date?” he asked me. “Ask Ronnie but sure.” I said. Max ran out of the bathroom to find Ronnie. I sat down on the couch with Peyton and Willow. Willow is on the verge of falling asleep on top of Charlie though. I turned on Toddlers & Tiaras for Peyton and I. “So do you like Max?” I asked her. “Is it that obvious?” she asked. I nodded. She blushed and buried her face into my shoulder. I laughed and rubbed her back.

Max’s POV

I ran up the stairs and tackled Ronnie onto his bed. “What is up with you?” he asked. “What you don’t want to have sex with me?” I asked striking a sexy pose next to him. He laughed. “Julia, can me and Max have sex?” he yelled downstairs. “Sure just clean up the bed after.” Julia yelled back. We both bursted out laughing. “So what is up?” he asked. “Can I please ask Peyton out on a date?” I asked. “Sure but you hurt her I hurt you.” He said. “I understand captain.” I said saluting him. I sat there all happy. “Well, what are you waiting for? Go ask her.” He said pushing me out of the room. I went to the bathroom real quick to fix myself up. I took out my extra toothbrush that I store here and brushed my teeth. I smiled and took a deep breath. I headed downstairs and saw Willow and Julia asleep on the couch. I headed into the kitchen and saw Peyton making a sandwich. “Hey.” I said. “Hi, do you want a sandwich too?” she asked. “No, I don’t want to put you to all that trouble.” I said. “It’s fine Max.” She said. “Okay, let me at least help.” I said. She nodded and moved over so I can help. We accidentally hit hand when we went for a knife to spread our peanut butter. “Sorry.” She said. I held her hand I mine. I looked at her. “Peyton, I really like you. Will you go out on a date with me tonight?” I asked. “I don’t know; I have never really been on a date before.” She said. “What? A beautiful girl like you has never been on a date. Well then you must join me.” I said. “Okay Max.” she said. “I will pick you up at seven.” I said. She nodded and we sat there eating our sandwiches. I finished eating and I headed home to get ready.
