It made Nami feel so bad having to leave Zuko; but he needed to find his mother and she wanted the same to find her parents. Zuko met with the rest of the gang on a docks that was a boat for Fire Fountain City. Nami smiled at them holding back tears as she had her hands clasped together tightly feeling the strain on her heart to part ways for the time being.
" well, i want to say ...... you all really made me change for the better ...... i am glad to call you all my dearest friends." Nami smiled at them wishing she didn't have to go but she knew it was her destiny.
Sokka nodded " yea, we couldn't have saved the world without your help" Sokka shook hands with Nami, she only smiled before looking at Katara next
Katara smiled as she hugged Nami " im so glad for you, your going to find them i know it" Nami nodded wipeing her tears away
" i know and I'm not afraid you taught me so much and i know i can do it" Nami smiled before walking to Toph who stood their crossing her arms
" Don't go getting yourself killed Alright, your apart of our Team to" Toph said shaking her head but she was surprised when she felt Nami pull her in to a hug, as Toph hugged her back smiling " i wont forgive you if you go and die on us" Toph said the last part lowly only for Nami and her to hear
Nami laughed slightly before letting go and walked over to the boat where Zuko stood beside the plank that lead on to the boat, Zuko truly loved Nami so much. he really wished her not to go but it wasen't to be; he had to find his mother.
" i wont be long Zuko, i promise ..... ill find them and come back to you as soon as i can and may-" Nami was cut off by Zuko pulling her into a hug tightly, Zuko couldn't handle it he wanted to hold her close as he wished this parting would stop hurting. Nami began to cry as she hugged him back.
" come back safely ok, i could not bear to loose you Nami" he let go slowly as he held her hands looking at her and Nami to him; Nami nodded smiling at him. Zuko watched Nami walk on to the ship that was preparing to depart from the docks.
Nami watched tearfully from the side as her friends dissapeared in thee distance, she knew it wasn't to far the town but; to Nami it was the separation that was getting her, Nami was fond of her friends and Zuko most of all. but this was a good thing Nami knew that; she finally was going to find out and maybe find her parents after being separated from birth.
It took about a day to reach the town, Nami walked off the boat looking around at the lively town as children ran about playing with one another; it was beautiful the town it was the same like in her mothers journal. Nami saw a group of women standing talking as she walked over and they noticed her and looked at her becoming silent
she was wearing fire nation clothing like before as she didn't want to attract attention to her self; she felt like a guard with water pouches at each of her sides, it didn't raise any suspicion as it only looked like it was to keep her self hydrated. she nodded at the ladys who looked slightly nervous to talk to her as Nami sighed deciding to make the mood less tense. ( as above pic her outfit )
" My name is Nami. i am looking for a Old shop, owned by a old lad goes by the name of Rei." she said as the Lady's talked to one another talking about what she had asked for and some looked a little scared to tell nami wanted to know
The ladys described to Nami where to go as Nami nodded listening to every instruction, this was it Nami said, she was getting closer to know where her mother would be if she still stayed at the shop maybe her mother would be able to tell it was her at first glance. Nami bowed after the women finished speaking and she gave them money for their help before she turned and left them following the directions the women had given her
Nami found it the shop her mother once worked in so long ago; was she inside or had she not came back to this place after escaping the palace. Nami felt her heart race as she reached for the handle of the door. Slowly Nami turned it and walked in to the shop and a woman smiled at her welcoming her in to the shop. the woman was not old but she did look like she was in her 30's. This wasn't Rei; Nami knew that for a fact.
" hello, Miss I-" Nami was cut off by the woman behind the countet cutting in to the start of her sentence
"my is Leea What can i help you with?" Leea only smiled as she cleaned the counters of the shop looking at her from time to time.
" i am looking for some people, i was hoping to see the Woman Rei who use to own this small store" she said as she began to look round the shop. Leea perked up after hearing that and only sighed a little thinking of the lovely old woman.
" I'm terribly sorry, Rei passed away a year ago .... " Leea looked at Nami, she could see the feeling in her face of shock. Leea came over taking Nami's arm to help her sit down " please relax for a moment i know news like this isn't pleasant"
" it isn't that, I never knew her personally. Rei was .... was the only one who could help me" Nami covered her face beginning to cry slightly. Nami pulled out the journal looking at the cover of it thinking she had lost her chance to ever find them " i had read about this place she worked with my mother .... she was the only woman who could of known where my mother is" Nami wiped her tears a little as Leea sighed trying to think of something to help her
Leea thought as she smiled when an idea came in to her mind; Leea knew this girl may not have a place to stay and maybe her co-workers could help " well i have co-workers, two are not here but ...... if you would like we all could have dinner tomorrow night. Do you have a place to stay the night?"
" No, i only got here a few hours ago. " Nami said wiping her eyes more until she looked at Leea smiling a little
"then you can stay here until you find them or, if you find out they are somewhere else" Leea smiled as she went back to work and Nami got up and went to help her. Nami felt this day may not have been the best but she at least was going to get help to find them and that's all she wanted was to find her parents.
But where her parents going to be here? or was it her destiny to travel to another place to find her parents? That didn't Matter to Nami all she cared about was finding them no matter what.
