Once nami and zuko returned they shared a meal with both of their parents and the gang, even know zuko went back to being royal and more, formal like before, it was fun to share what the ly did, excluding the parts that didn't need to be told.
Everyone was glad to get their gifts thanking them both.
Sokka was so hyped bailing out at dinner with such happiness" yes, these are the best snacks ever, haven't had them in so long!"
Nami giggled along with everyone else but nami father who sat eating quietly, he was contemplating thoughts before he would express it " I hope that nothing too serious happened between you and my baby girl" he glared at zuko, just a moment before looking away
"Dad!" Naomi said out loud in embarrassment before she could talk more her mother butted in
"Nami he is only worried about you, so ... As he is a man, and at times they have wants" she said before taking a moment as she looked to ursa as they both nodded in sync like knowing what each other was thinking.
Nothing else about it was talked about and everyone went about their business after dinner, most going to bed, Aang and zuko going for a walk to discuss the city.
Nami let herself go see Iroh wanting to get some time with him to talk about issues and her thoughts.
Iroh sat alone in the garden feeding the ducks in the pond as nami joined him and both giving each other a gentle smile as a hello
"How was your vacation," he asked smiling as he peeked at bank in the corner of his eye
"It was fun, I'm glad we got to do it. The only thing is I'm worried iroh and I feel I gotta talk to you more than anyone else. Wisdom helps people and me more than anything " nami expressed it with worry on her face and her heart
"Sorry if is a waste of time, take the time to think about what concerns you and ask your self, serious questions about it and and trust what you belive " iroh said before throwing some bread crubs in the water
" I'm worried that, zuko and I will be like this just dating, nothing more. He has loves me, i belive this because he told me and showed me" nami stopped for moment thinking a little before continuing to talk " will he ever marry Me?, or will he keep he handing because I'm not like him royal "
Iroh chucked at her worry knowing she was worrying for nothing " zuko is stubborn, he finds it hard to focus on many things, don't worry, this business with the city is a lot, but he knows in his heart, he doesn't care where you came from only, that you are the love of his life, give him time" iroh said as nami nodded. She understanding his words on the matter as it helped make her believe zuko would come around sòon.
"Your right iroh" nami smiled glad he helped her talk about this "I love him to pieces, I'm sure once the city's finished or at a point that he is freer" Iroh iron and nami hugged happily for a moment.
"I do hope I am still here to see my grand-neice or grand-nephew. I know the city will take time but i really want to see zuko have a family of his own with you....you bring him such joy" iroh said smiling
" i do hope for that day to. But zuko sees you more of a father to him. in a way it could feel like a granddaughter or son because of your relationship you have" she smiled at him as they both laugh. Nami liked to talk to iroh he was nice and knowledgeable about a lot of things
The rest of the evening nami practised with katara on her water bending wanting to be a master like she is. Nami and Katara worked on the octopus she used during the time Aang and katara were on the caves.
Nami did her best to counter attacks and move in the right way from her throing ice spikes at her. She missed one to catch and moved to thr side just barely missing her in the abdomen as she sighs stopping the training to take a moment to relax.
Katara came over looking her over" you ok.....i didnt hurt you or anyhing " katara asked as nami shook her head she sat beside nami smiling.
It was a long night after that chatting befor3 heading off to their own rooms.

months passed as the city was being built after a problem aang had to settle but it was alright in the end and thing's progressed as normal.
Nami was putting on something nice as the gang decided to go out for food for once, it was uncommon for zuko to do so but it was something he wanted to do, to have some time away from business and hand with his friends and nami.
Nami dressed in a nice outfit but strangely she felt it was a little tight. It was strange to her but she brushed it off like it was nothing and finished getting ready before leaving to meet everyone at the palace gates as zuko already dressed earlier on in royal clothing like he had to.
Nami smiled as she goes to hold zukos hand as they all walked to the restaurant.
They soon arrived and entered a nice place to have som3yhiny yo eat as they sat down at a table where they cooked food in front of you.
Nami smiled not minding it only happy to have the gang back together and talking again.
" you know i miss the old days when you chased aang and the days of travelling," Sokka said sighing "I miss suki she is off with her warriors to train new recruits and help towns," he said sitting his chin on the table.
" You always complain Sokka. she is doing it because we inspired her to help those in need " Katara snapped back at him
Nami smiled sokka was right she missed the old days which was quite a long time ago and all of them where technically young adults now than teens back in the war.
Everyone ordered something they liked knowing sokka he got meat and everyone else got a proper meal including nami. After a while nami got up to head to the bathroom she wasn't feeling so good as she went to the bathroom feeling terrible and it was making her throw up what she ate for some reason, it wasn't clear to nami why, but she believed it was maybe the food.
After a good 10 minutes zuko became concerned about nami it wasn't like her to take this long" i wonder whats taking nami" as he said it toph rang in as she was usually quite " why doesn't someone who can see go"
Katara got up as wiped her mouth" ill go see if she is ok" katara volunteered as she was the only girl apart from toph. She went in and walked to a stall that was the only ome that made Boise " hey nami you in their"
" yea....im ok kata-" she was sick again a little as it made katana even more worried she opened the door to see nami sitting on the floor beside the toilet, " i think the food isn't agreeing with me" she said trying to crack a joke
Katara worried as she felt nami's head " you don't have a fever" come on we should take you back home to get you checked over" as nami tried to refuse katara helped her up and look ok as they head out to the table" sorry guys nami doesn't seem very well ill take her back and take her to bed so we can get her checked out"
Everyone seemed concerned but toph as she sat eating with no worry. Everyone daid goodbye to them and Katara and nami left to go back to the palace in silence for a while
" don't worry about it nami we will find out what's wrong " katara said trying to comfort her. nami began to worry it wasn't normal she had never felt like this before
