Chapter 4

Lucy's POV

We were sitting in the waiting room when Juvia walks in panting.

"Did you run here or something?"
Levy asked.

"No, gr.... gray dropped... me off" she said while taking a seat.

We all gasped and Wendy gave her a wink. I'm honestly not surprised. Gray and her are inseparable. They are always hanging out but deep inside I know they want to date.

Mira Strauss aka the "demon cupid" literally had to black mail them to go to prom together by getting baby pictures from their moms on Facebook and threatening to share it on the school website and in the last minute yearbook photos. But in the end it was worth it.

I heard she had a secret club where freshmen help her gather photos and blackmail people into dating. when her little sister blackmailed her into dating the school jock Laxus Dreyar she canceled the club immediately. But when he asked her out the week before prom she got back into the spirit of love.

The only person who doesn't have a date is Erza, but she doesn't like anyone at our school so it didn't bother her she is actually went with Millianna who's older boyfriend, Simon, didn't go.

One at a time the girls get up to go to their appointments.

" I wonder why it's so crowded" she says, trying to break the awkward silence. God I envy her accent.

" I mean it is prom" I say chuckling.

" Juvia Lockser? " a lady calls out.

Juvia flashes me a smile and walks up to her.

Natsu's POV

Now that me and Lucy are going together I have less to worry about. For starters, she won't be so awkward or uncomfortable especially to the point that she can't have fun which abigail would be. Secondly, I know most of her friends so I won't lose her. And I know that lucy would be her honest self around me. She won't even hide her awful dancing.

Me and the guys are having a pre-prom party in an hour and I am getting ready. I comb my hair one more time getting just enough gel between every strand. Even though Lucy won't appreciate it, I can pick up so many girls with this look because in the end it's all about the Presentation.

As I look in the mirror my mom walks in. "Look at you " she says smirking.

"Who knew you'd look so handsome in a tux. You should wear tuxes more often"

" Mom... you can stop " this is so embarrassing.

" Alright. Just remember to make good decisions tonight." she says once more.

And Carla pops up behind her. " Wow, I never knew could smell good." She says with a serious face

" C'mon carla. Just one day. Leave your brother alone will ya?"My mom says pointing at me.

She giggles and walks away pulling my mom who still looks flabbergasted.

" Are you driving or what?" She says at a distance.

" No gray is. " I shout back.

I really don't know why we trust gray so much. He's always the call-up guy. Maybe because he's the responsible one unless he's with Juvia. Juvia might actually be the death of him. He is a chill guy but when Juvia is around he unintentionally tries to impress her.

They were friends since the 10th grade when Juvia transfered here from London. She was only supposed to stay for one year but with Gray's help they convinced her parents to let her stay with Cana Alberona's family.

I am Gray's best friend but I know that Juvia is somehow closer to him.

Since Juvia is closest to Gray, it wasn't hard for her to accept his little promposal.

They are basically already dating without knowing it.

And gajeel. He is even weirder. He, the school delinquent, has been dating Levy McGarden, the nerdy angel, since forever. When they met in the 8th grade, to be exact. He is a tough guy but when he's around Levy he's all lovey-dovey and stuff.

The first time I noticed his behavior was in 10th grade at my parents' vacation house where we had a spring fling after party that was supposed to last until spring break was over. But instead of playing call of duty he invited Levy on a romantic get away. After three days of their "love" I was traumatized and called lucy for help.

She was no use because Levy is her best friend and she thought they were a cute couple.

She just wanted to torture me.

She threatened to tell Mira Strauss if I did anything to ruin their vacation who, ever since I had a little fling with her sister Lisanna, always looks at me like she wants to rip my face off. So then we came up with a plan to call more people and play a game of truth or dare.

It sort of worked out but when Mira dared them into a seven seconds of heaven, let's just say it lasted about 70 minutes in the basement. And even then, they just shamelessly made out with each other.

Even Mira the "cupid" couldn't handle their disgusting love. Lucy forced me to help her talk to them about how their relationship was negatively affecting our friendship and the house. Ever since then, we don't really see them together but we know they are because they're always over at each other's houses.

Then there's Wendy and Romeo who are always acting like they are grown. They've been together since the sixth grade. Then in the 9th grade they secretly became Friends with benefits but when they're with everyone else they act all inocent.

I only know all this because of lucy whose boyriend isn't around enough to hear all the "latest gossip". She harasses my door until my mom gives her the keys. Then the next two and a half hours are about gossips, fashion, or horoscopes.

If wendy wasn't with Romeo all the time I could get some peace.

But Wendy would never do anything to help me. I guess the reason she helped me with the last minute promposal is for Lucy's sake.

I grab my shoes and put them on. Everyone is taking the limo except lucy I heard she was running late but she'll come back with us and will pick up her car tomorrow.
