Chapter 25

Lucy's POV

After he picked up I was suddenly nervous.

" Hey Natsu. Are you guys coming back anytime soon. Hey are you at a party? Why wasn't I invited?" I giggled.

" you're getting married in two days, that's why." Juvia grabbed the phone out of my hand.

" I hate to be nagging, but keep away from your phone." She walked out an I blankly followed her.

"Why? "I whined. I can't be phoneless. Well, I can but I shouldn't be.

"We have a wedding to plan. Plus, you should be spending more time with
Your fiancé. Not whoever you were talking to." She said as she plumped herself on the couch.

"Natsu." I felt the need to correct her. Not that it even mattered.

" like I said, spend more time with your fiancé. Trust me, the more connected you are to him, the more special the special day will be." She nodded and scribbled on a paper.

" Spend the rest of today with him. You won't see him at all tomorrow. No seeing the groom the day before the wedding." Levy joined the conversation.

I honestly don't even know where he is right now. I held my hand out to Juvia and she shook her head. " you're not getting it back. I'll text him for you."

I didn't know whether to secretly grab it or just shrug it off. I can't stay more than five minutes away from it. Especially when I was not even finished talking to Natsu.

She showed me the screen and it read: hey Sting. I was thinking we should spend more time with each other before the wedding. What do you think about a dinner date in an hour?

She looked up at me. " Is that alright?"

Before I even said anything she pressed send. "Oops. Well, you'll thank me later." She winked at me.

Mrs. Dragneel walked out of the kitchen and smiled.

"I have good news and bad news. Good news is I made cookies. Bad news is I have to get going. It's late and I start with a new client tomorrow." She said as she pulled me, levy, and Juvia into a tight hug.

" Oh have you seen Natsu today?" She slipped on her coat.

"Oh I thi-

Juvia and Levy gave me a death glare as to say 'don't answer.'

"He's probably with Lisanna, his girlfriend." Levy said.

Mrs.Dragneel shrugged her shoulders and walked out the door.

Juvia, Wendy, and Levy stared at me.

"Okay. Thanks for stopping by." I said,as I closed the door.

When I turned around, Levy and Juvia were giving me creepy looks. "Can I help you?" I stared back at them.

"No, but we can help you get ready for the date." Levy grinned.

Natsu's POV

After thirty calls unanswered calls and ten messages to Lucy, I decided it was best if I respected her feelings. If she didn't want to talk to me I couldn't blame her.

A few seconds later Cana danced her way over to me.

"Hey Natsu. Lisanna said to just leave her here. She said she has nothing to say to you and when she does, she knows where to find you." Cana yelled over the music.

I turned around and made my way towards the door and left the party.

'So now I have just ruined my Relationship with my best friend and my girlfriend. I didn't know what to think if myself and who or what to trust.' I thought on my way back to my car.

I could go home but Lucy's not answering my calls. She can't afford to be upset when her wedding is right around the corner.

I started driving and made my way to Lucy's vacation house.
