Lucy's POV
So for the past two hours or so, we've been sitting on the porch. I've been telling Natsu the plan of getting Gray and Juvia together.
He doesn't even look like he's listening. At. All.
" Natsu, please focus!" He keeps nodding but I know he didn't hear a word.
" I aaaam." He retorted.
" Then tell me what I just said." I challenged him.
" Happy and I sleep over while she and Gray spend some quality time together. You and Mira Jane are going to stalk them and make everything go right. You will get all your friends as minions until you succeed and something else..." He looked blankly at me.
Well. Okay. Maybe he did listen.
" and you WILL stay out of it. Unless i ask you to help." I corrected him.
" why would I want to help anyways?" He busted into laughter.
"Trust me, if you can even get Grays attention I will be surprised. The guy has an attention spam of a new born."
"Just like you." I smirk.
"Whatever." He rolls his eyes.
Just for a second we both stop everything. It feels like nobody is breathing.
This weird tension in the air.
" uh.. so yeah." He scratched his head awkwardly.
Oh no. Did I make him uncomfortable?
"Uh. Yeah." I blushed and quickly removed all the paper we were writing with.
He mumbled something but I was distracted. We got up and shook hands in a buisness type way and headed towards the door when Juvia walked up to us.
"I need to chat with you." She walked right past us with anger all over her face and tears in her eyes.
Me and Natsu exchanged looks and he nodded at me.
I walked back out and there she was crying. In all the years I've known Juvia, I've never seen her like this.
I sat by her on the first step and she started crying even more.
I pat her on the back but I don't think It was working. I didn't even know how to comfort her.
She doesn't talk when she is in a bad mood either so it was even more awkward.
" what's wrong?" I asked, taking the risk.
What she said shocked me to another degree. Were any of us ready to handle this?
