LUCY'S POV
"Sounds like a plan." Natsu assured him.
Happy ran off to the car.
"I love that kid so much, he kind of reminds me of... Well me." He says again.
"Yeah. I totally see It." I jokingly admit.
His face then turns very pale And serious.
" Lucy, I'm sorry about the whole happy choosing my side thing."
"It's fine, I get it. He wouldn't be comfortable with me and Juvia anyways. And you are more responsible than I gave you credit for, I should be apologizing." I say, as I start to walk.
"Lucy I'm also giving you the money I got from your parents."
"The great Dragneel is giving up money?" I say sarcastically.
"No, seriously. I am not accepting your parent's so called 'compensation. I can't and I won't." He pouts.
"Why, when you got more than both me and happy combined? "
"Well, if I took it, it would seem as if I accept the deal to stay away from you. And I clearly don't..."
" Natsu, I know you would never accept a deal like that. My parents must have gone crazy if they think they can tear us apart."
He started giggling.
"Whats so funny?"
I'm trying to cheer him up and he laughs?
"Remember when we were in the second grade and you used to come over all the time? And when ever your mom came to pick you up we would always find ways to hide you so you didn't have to go? " he says laughing.
He stands there reminiscing.
How can he even remember that?.
" yeah." I say, in defeat.
" guys come on..." we heard happy scream from the distance.
This is going to be a long day.
Natsu gave me a glare and said four words that got my attention and triggered my reflexes.
"I'll race you there." He said as he dashed off.
I ran off as soon as possible and caught up to him.
"Yeah right, Natsu. Did you really just challenge me in my specialty?" I said, panting.
We waited at the cross walk. Natsu started doing weird stretches.
If he thinks he's gonna beat me he, should think again.
As soon as the sign says to walk I dash off across the cross walk.
I feel Natsu tug on me and slow me down.
I stop for a second and he trips from the sudden pause. That's my queue. I heard car breaks and immediately turned around. I ran back as fast as I could and started pushing and shoving the big crowd that formed. Happy ran to me.
"Is he dead?" He asked with a petrified face.
"Probably not." I almost start to laugh then the seriousness hit me. "Go call for help." I correct myself.
I dug through the people until I saw him and did a quick inspection.
" are you alright?" I say in a hurry.
"My ankle hurts a bit, but my back is killing me." He says, eyeballing the people around him.
"KEEP IT MOVING PEOPLE, YOU'RE MAKING HIM UNCOMFORTABLE." I spit out. Then an old lady approaches me looking a bit scared. " I'm really sorry for hitting your boyfriend, I just fell asleep really quickly." She said, almost about to cry.
I looked at her in awe. I didn't know whether to comfort her or to yell at her.
"I'll wait until the ambulance comes. If that'll help." She says, faking a smile.
I turned around and Natsu was still on the ground. "Here let me help you up." I reach for his arm. After I helped him up he leaned on me for support as we made our way to Happy who was sitting on the curb looking very distracted.
I helped him sit and I saw half of his back was scratched really bad. And some parts were bleeding.
" I already called the ambulance and Lisanna, she said she'll tell everyone. " Happy finally said.
Oh my goodness. Did he have to tell her? She already thinks I'm a bad influence. Wow, good one Lucy. I was supposed to be nice to her and stuff.
Now how will I approach her?
'Oh hi, I nearly killed your boyfriend, do you still maybe want to try out the whole friendship thing?' I roll my eyes in frustration.
Both happy and Natsu already started a discussion and are giggling like crazy. Just then we heard an ambulance not too far from the block.
"Can I ride with you?" Happy says while hugging his knees. Natsu quickly looks at me and I nod my head in approval.
"Here." Happy threw the keys at me without a warning.
"Wow, you're giving up your chance to drive? " Natsu stared at him unbelievingly.
Happy just nodded and looked back at me with an envious look.
"You might wanna go back and get Lisanna, her car is in a repair shop." Happy adds.
"Will do." I say confidently. I quickly turn around walk away.
Oh god what will Lisanna do to me?
I just have a bad luck around the Strauss family.
As I start the car I can't help but stare at the ambulance leave while a police officer is questioning the old lady.
"It could have been worse." I whisper to myself.

Sorry for not updating for FOUR whole days, what happened was, wattpad kept erasing this chapter (and I also kept forgetting to save it. LOL. and I kept having to rewrite it.
