Lucy's POV
"No." Natsu looked in my eyes.
"Huh?" I looked back at him, dumbfounded.
" Lucy. Juvia explained to me what happened."
" about?" I protested.
" Nothing." He turned to go back.
"Why have you been ignoring me?" I asked, almost in desperation.
"I've been ignoring you?" He chuckled.
" I've been calling you and texting you like crazy, and you're acting like it never happened. And what about what Lisanna said about you? Are you mad, upset, why are you being so nice to her after all that?" He almost screamed at the top of his lungs.
"Natsu I don't even have my phone with me."
He dragged his hand through his hair and started blushing.
" Lucy, its just not a good time to be friends." He started frowning a bit.
"What? You can't even be my acquaintance?"
" Lucy, I'm starting to fall for you and I know I shouldn't but... When you're around him, it makes me mad. HE'S YOUR FIANCE, I SHOULD KNOW MY PLACE!" He took a deep breath out of frustration.
I was so shocked and surprised. I didn't even want to know if this was real.
"Wait..." I uttered. I couldn't even figure out what I wanted to say.
" Lucy we can't keep avoiding our problems." He still didn't turn around.
" Natsu, that's our thing. We run away from our problems. Together." I giggled fiercly.
"Not when you are my problem. Maybe we just need some time away from each other." He turned to me one last time before opening the door. His face was very red and flustered.
How was I the problem?
I walked in and everyone was still laughing and exchanging funny selfies. Natsu avoided my eye contact.
Soon after we left Natsu,Lisanna, Carla, and even Happy left. Everyone was leaving the vacation house and I started feeling more lonely.
" Okay, Gray's here." Juvia hugged me and ran out the door.
" Okay. " I said to myself.
" Are you alright? You look kinda down." Sting turned on the television.
" No, I'm just tired. I think I'll head to sleep." I remarked.
I wasn't even sure what the cause of my sudden depressed state was.
